Walking on vacation excruciating pain overtook me, I couldn’t move, literally couldn’t walk 2 feet-ended up in wheelchair. MRI’s, CAT Scans showed severe Lumbar Stenosis. Dr. Waldman took me on and for more than an hour explained and answered every thought imaginable. I was scared. Well, the day arrived for my shot I was in a wheelchair. I woke up, and walked out. It was beyond incredible. Life was back to normal. It’s been several months and I’ve recently had 2nd shot. Words can’t convey my thank you’s to Dr. Waldman.

Dr. Seth Waldman is a wonderful specialist.
I see Dr. Waldman every month for 17 years. He is one of a kind, offers not only high professionalism, but also kindness and understanding. He never dismissed my problems, always calls me back and answers messages. Even though my pain is chronic with complications, Dr. Waldman always finds a solution to make me feel better. I could use PM Dr locally, but to me doctor Waldman and his wonderful staff are the best, I don't mind to travel. I also see Dr. Waldman on Telehealth sometimes. Thank you all.

Dr. Waldman takes the time and has the skill and interest in listening to the patient. He explains everything with honest, forthrightness as well as thoroughness and respect for the patient’s ability to understand. He appears very knowledgeable and current in his awareness of health issues. I highly recommend him.

This is my 3rd year as his patient and he is amazing. He is one the reasons I remain living in NYC, and if he left I would travel to see him. I am a 'complex patient' with a number of incurable and degenerative chronic conditions, including some rare ones and some I have had for 10+ and 15+ years. He has repeatedly gone above and beyond to ensure appropriate diagnoses and treatments, and referred me to other Drs when its beyond his scope. He explains things well, he listens to what I say, and he actually CARES! He is not biased by my age which other doctors have been. He is the only Dr who has managed to actually improve some of my pain. He is in high demand though, and very busy, so I book my appointments early and if I don't hear back on a call or message I just follow up again.

Post lamanectomy I was pretty much incapacitated both physically and emotionally. Doctors I had seen previous to Dr. Waldman spoke with scalpels in their hands. A previous epidural lasted two weeks. My wife and I had planned a trip, Dr. Waldman was our last hope for any kind of fun. Two weeks before the trip treated me. He pulled no punches. You may need fusion surgery, but not now. It's been four months. As he predicted, I may need more shots and even surgery. But I got 4 months of living.

The purpose of a pain management specialist is to help treat your pain and in theory, make you feel better. A pain management MD who doesn't return a patients repeated phone calls when they are in pain, doesn't instill a lot of patient confidence. Reputations are one thing but actual patient care and compassion are something entirely different. Shame on you Dr. Waldman.

Dr Waldman is the best at what he does. And I've seen several of the other so-called best spine related pain specialists. No comparison.

Staff is friendly. Appointments and procedures are always on time, and most important: This doctor is beyond empathetic and caring. He thinks outside of the box and after years of suffering, he has my pain under control.

I wish all doctors were like Dr. Waldman. He makes you feel comfortable the first time you see him. He is kind, smart, understanding and intuitive. He is extrordinarily thoughtful and even returns e-mails when it is important. I'm sorry he doesn't take my insurance anymore. He understands the questions asked, and unasked and answers both. He is compassionate and really cares about his patients.Strongly RECOMMEND!!! HE IS THE BEST.
