I usually bring a book to my appointments (although I usually don't get to read very long), and Dr. Yarboro actually remembered what book I had been reading at the previous visit, and asked about it. It certainly made me feel recognized as an individual and not just another generic clinical problem.

Dr. Yarboro was absolutely exceptional. He provided evidence-based injury management recommendations and had a warm, engaging, and down to earth demeanor. I am so grateful for his care, including getting me in rapidly after my injury.

Dr. Yarboro was very friendly and focused on how I had progressed through my post operative period. I appreciated that he decided to leave the sutures in for additional healing!

If I could post this review with ZERO stars I would! This physician doesn’t deserve the title nor a job in a fast food restaurant. My husband was severely injured in a car accident and was placed under the care of Yarboro, who has now decided he will no longer see him. This office called to schedule a surgery (my husband hadn’t spoken with the doctor) and requested that the scheduler have Yarboro call and let him know “what the hell kind of operation was being scheduled”. Because of being questioned, this jerk sent a letter that he would no longer treat, continue prescriptions or perform a needed surgery. I wouldn’t take my dog to this physician or anyone associated with his practice. Dr Yarboro, I hope you personally read this review

I saw Dr. Yarboro for evaluation, and surgery on my right tibial plateau fracture. He also removed torn miniscus from the right knee. Dr. Y assured me that, after surgery, I would have better mobility and more range of motion in the right leg than I had before the break. Not so. Now, nine months post surgery, after continual physical therapy, I have degree of bending in the right knee of only 90 degrees, and the PT specialists have told me that is all they can improve it. Dr. Y, on questioning about bending the knee under anesthesia, initially stated he would strongly not recommend that course of action, although later in the same interview he switched his position and said we could try it. After his initial reluctance to use that method, and after his statement before my surgery that all would be improved when that has not proved true, I was very afraid that the bending under anesthesia might turn out to be another case of poor judgement.

Dr. Yarboro was amazing when I broke my shoulder 1 year ago. I know I was fortunate to be taken care of by him. He never seemed in a hurry and always took time to explain everything and answer my questions. He is a very compassionate and caring doctor. I would recommend him 100%.
