Stopped taking Metformin after 18 years, extreme lower back pain... after stopping metformin completely, I was having digestive issues, very hard to discharge waste and pain, urinating was painful as well as passing gas... I had to contact the Lourdes President secretary for assistance because Lourdes had been hacked and Jamil was ignoring CVS contact for 5 medication refills, including my current digestive issues... Jamil's team told me that she was not available and I should go to the walk in.. I said NO! I contacted my fall back VA doctor via email to call me.... He called me the next day.. He told me to take 2 stool softeners everyday for a month. Two days later the issues were no longer present. I left Jamil for UHS on July 5th, met my doctor and I sharded my experience with him and interviewed him, he was very forth coming. I asked the nurse what she thought of him and she had gotten her father to see him. Was very pleased.. the same was true with the check out male, very good !

I have been a patient of Dr. Jamil for years now. She knew I was having gallbladder issues and I would visit with my gastro doctor who didn't seem to think it was that bad. A year later another ultrasound was done as I was referred to a surgeon by Dr. Jamil. Thank God she referred me to her. Gallstones were piling up and layering in my gallbladder. More were forming around my liver. Gallstones were blocking a bile duct. Explains why I was vomiting thick heavy bile! I am so happy that Dr. Jamil told me it's time to get out that gallbladder! She's the best!

Very personable-caring-kind-happy to see you- does not rush you! She looks over my records before she enters the room so she knows All about me! I would highly recommend her!

I live 2 hours away from Vestal Internal Medicine and I would not go for care anywhere else. Dr. Jamil is a wonderful doctor. I trust her completely with my care. She's friendly, compassionate, and thorough. She does not rush you and answers all my questions. There aren't many doctors out there that care about their patient's but she does. I recommend her every chance I get. You won't be disappointed in the care you receive from her.

Along with myself, Dr Jamil takes care of my entire family including my husband, step-father and mentally challenged step-sister. She has correctly diagnosed several issues with my husband and sent him to the necessary specialists. She is caring and knowledgeable and takes her time when you're in for an appointment.
