Dr. Shadi Miller, MD

Dr. Miller has been my PCP for the last 15 years. She has helped me through my breast cancer diagnosis and my fractured neck. I trust her with my life.

I had a health crisis and my PCP was unavailable last minute, so I was scheduled to drive much further out to see Dr. Miller. I explained what I was experiencing to Dr. Miller and she was dismissive of my symptoms, claiming she did not 'see' them (as if the doctor 'seeing' them changes the reality for the patient). It turns out I was having spasms and other neurological issues associated with a new medication I tried telling her about. My psychiatrist and I immediately stopped my intake of it and all the problems eventually eased up, but had I continued to take them, it would have had serious health ramifications. Not only was Dr. Miller dismissive, she sort of just shrugged and didn't even say bye when having me exit. I want to support women of color doctors but I do not know if I would see her if you are having a problem that requires diagnosis.

I love Dr. Miller. I've been seeing her for 20 yrs. & trust her completely. She is thorough and caring.

She is a heartless Dr, my daughter went in for a routine check up and I mentioned about her having pain in her stomachs, all Dr miller cared about was proving she is taking her meds! Finally when I got her to address the issue ahh it's growing pains, she was in the ER a week later with gallbladder issues, another omg Dr from the same office agreed it was a gallbladder issue! Tomorrow she is having surgery to remove her gallbladder! She could have saved my daughter a lot of pain by doing her job!

I'm fairly conservative when it comes to using my health care benefits and when I have something going on I trust Dr. Shadi Miller to give me information and/or find a solutions to what ails me even if it is something not in her field. I've seen Dr. Miller for 8-years and know from first hand experience that she does not give up on her patients, and is a really, really great professional caregiver.

I had Dr. Miller as my Dr. for nearly 8 years and have never been happy with her as a doctor. Once during a routine check up she billed the visit as something else, so my insurance wouldn't cover it. It took hours of phone calls to get the office to clear the mistake based on something, the wouldn't tell me what, that Dr. Miller had written in her notes. She botched a circumcision on my infant son, which I had to take him to the urologist to fix a year later. Her bedside manner is lacking.

I had a negative experience with Dr. Miller. I often felt like I was not being heard, and I was doing what she wanted rather than addressing my own concerns. I have choose to leave, and I already have found a new provider who listens to what I want. I have chosen to write this review because my experience was really unbearable, and I hope you find a new doctor or maybe you can vibe with her. I also want to mention she never answered my questions and just gave me broad answers.
