Dr. Shadi Resheidat, MD

Dr. Resheidat is highly skilled and truly cares for his patients. We have been seeing him for years, and I have recommended him to many of my friends. They all deeply appreciate the recommendation.

Have had Dr. Resheidat as a GP for the last couple of years and he's always been very attentive and professional. He's always addressed my concerns, offered opinions, solutions, and has never had an issue referring me to another provider when needed.

For years, I had a good relationship with this doctor. However, recently he has changed his attention to detail and customer service/ bedside manner. He has refused to provide me access to my complete medical file. HIPPA actually requires by law, with a few exceptions, that the entire contents of patients file is to be provided to the patient to access when requested by the patient. I have provided the actual verbiage in the law pertaining to this issue to his attention and he has replied with "i (me the patient) just needs to deal with his front staff." The rub here is, the staff goes by what he instructs them to do. They just told me two days ago no, per the doctor. Front staff has apologized and told me they are just the messenger. And that the doctor hates paperwork. All the while i am left trying to just get access to my medical files. This issue is still being esaclated with Unity Health Care. Not sure why he is fighting me to get access to my file. Not allowing

Dr Resheidat treated me at Baylor Medicine in Houston, TX in 2004 and was extremely thorough and had an amazing bedside manner instilling confidence and backing it up with outstanding care and follow up. I did a search to find out if he was still local, but it appears he’s moved away. I wish him the best and would highly recommend him.

He is my children's doctor and he is great! He always is able to see my kids the same day I call if need be.
