Dr. Shaheen Chowdhry, MD

Terrible and rude!! I'm in my 30s and brought my mother in her 60s along with me to my appointment. Dr. Chowdhry assumed my mother was the patient (not a problem) and was immediately incredulous when I told her I was the patient (I look younger than my age, I can understand). She asked what brings me in. I was referred because of inappropriate sinus tachycardia, chest pain, and a heart rate of more than 200bpm taken at hospital that referred me, but when I answered that the doctor replied 'I find that hard to believe.' !!!!! Excuse me? She had not even looked at my records or done an exam of any kind, but had already essentially called me a liar as soon as she stepped into the room. I was taken aback and decided to end the appointment then due to her attitude. Unfortunately, the nurse who had taken my ECG and vitals was lovely and I was looking forward to getting established at Prime, until the nurse left and I met Dr. Chowdhry.

I have 5 chronic health conditions so when my blood pressure was out of control my specialist all felt it was serious. Dr. Chowhdry has done thorough testing to find the cause. She is very personable and is communicating with my other doctors which is very rare nowadays. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a doctor who truly cares about her patients and has her medical assistant texting me for my blood pressure readings regularly.

I went to see her ask for an FMLA letter for my work due to COVID 19 for my work and she refused to give me one. I have diabetes, high blood, and heart diseased. I am medically compromised if I get sick. If you are giving her a high rating because she treated your loved one, try to be her patient and you will know the truth. NOT RECOMMENDED! "ZERO STAR"

Dr. Chowdhry has been a great cardiologist for me, asking the right questions when I visit and going over all health aspects. She cares about the total person (of course it all relates to the heart as well). She and her office take good notes and she is prepared in visits. Wait time is minimal the last few years. Office is also very clean, which I appreciate during the cold seasons.

Very satisfactory: Staff was excellent, as was Dr. Chowdry. I was very nervous about seeing a new cardiologist. That was proved to be totally unnecessary. The staff and Dr. Chowdry made certain that they had background info of mine inhand before my arrival (impressive). Wait time was within 8-10 min. I'll not be nervous about future visits. Highly recommend Dr.Chowdry.

Went to her for chest pain. She spent less than 5 minutes with me before she left the room never to be seen again. She never looked at my blood work until I told her she was holding it in her hands, she then focused on only one result without getting any history as to why the results were as shown. Wish I had read the other reviews. Patients die under her care! Find another Doctor!!!!
