I've been seeing Dr. Ahmed for about 10 years. I trust her recommendations and I'm pleased that she knows me as a person and not just a number.

Dr. Ahmed is a wonderful, caring doctor. I just updated this review, because previously, the staff was very disorganized. When calling, I was always on hold for at least 20 minutes. But things have improved greatly. It's possible that a few years ago, they were seriously understaffed, but the problems seem to have been straightened out. Now, I have no reservations recommending this doctor.

Scheduling appointment
have been a patient of Dr Ahmed for several years, however was my go to Dr for wellness checkups annually. Missed a couple of years do to all the covid stuff, so recently wanted to schedule a wellness appointment as of this week. The receptionist very incompetent, doesn't know weather or not she is seeing additional patients. I explained to her, I have been a patient there, I was told because of 2 years have passed, I would have to be re-established???? How can this be, when they have all of my medical records?? Also, I was told that Dr. Ahmed's portal is closed. There appears to be much confusion in that office, so People should be aware of this before they seek out the physician. It is a shame, as Dr Ahmed is a very good Doctor. Very disappointed. 5/24/22

My father went to Dr Ahmed. She was out for his routine visit so he had to see the NP. My father was treated with absolutely no respect as a human by this person and treated as though he was incompetent. As a healthcare worker myself I find how he was treated appalling and recommended to him to change physicians.

DR. Ahmed's deliberate lack of follow-up on critical medical issues is only superseded by her arrogance‘! Her office staff is grossly inefficient – – – making an appointment takes four or five telephone attempts and messages left by us went invariably unreturned ! Instead of treating a condition, they simply pass you on to specialists, wasting time and money. TERRIBLE communication and a total lack of follow up. I’m leaving after several months, several appointments, and way too much frustration with the office.

I am a patient over 15 years. She is an excellent listener and makes one feel at ease. She answers questions unlike most doctors that just write scripts. Very thorough. Never feel rushed. she is great---but the appointment center that takes call ins---not so good.

Dr. Ahmed helped me deal with a myriad of health issues I have. She keeps up with everything. I see her every three months and if I need to see her sooner I call and they can usually get me seen the next day. I do miss the fact that she no longer goes to the hospitals when you are admitted. It is hard to be in the hospital and have to see a "hospitalist" while I am there. They do not know me like she does, but I do understand she needs a life too. Great doctor. I do recommend her to anyone.

She is everything a doctor should be. Caring, knowledgeable about the issues you are having, takes the time you deserve to have with a doctor. Never feel rushed, and her APRN gives you the same feeling. I am blessed to have such an amazing team of medical professionals!!!

Dr Ahmed does not seem to care about a patients emotional well being. Today I left her office crying because she was upset that I was unhappy about having to come in to see her for an appt because I was depressed and wanted a prescription for an antidepressant. I'm a pharmacist and Dr Ahmed never asked me why I was depressed, instead she just proceeded to berrate me for even considering that she should write me a prescription without being seen. Why couldn't we have talked on the phone? When I told her I was on a high end deductible insurance, she basically told me it was my problem. Instead of comfort, she told me to find another doctor. In fact, she allowed me, a depressed patient, to leave her office in extremely upset&crying My husband of 39 years has been fighting CRC. We have a myraid of appts, and one more appt just send me over the edge. When I got home today I noticed on the Bradenton Physician portal that they have Teledoc. Why didn't they offer it to me??

Dr. Ahmed was once a physician I highly respected and stood out amongst the masses of doctors for her great moral character, patience and most importantly her sincere care for her patients.. Sadly, today her lack of care, concern and patience fails to exist.. Her overall beside manner has diminished. I would no longer recommend her services as a physician. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed for over 12 years and have never felt as much confidence and trust in any of my previous doctors. Dr. Ahmed actually REALLY listens to you and responds to your concerns, She has a great memory (or keeps great notes) about my history, not just the diagnosis but my questions, feelings and concerns about my health over the years. She also is highly regarded by other healthcare professionals as a hands on doctor.
