I received excellent care through Dr. Akhtar and her staff. They are very kind and ensured that I am properly treated. Dr. Akhtar truly cares for her patients as was able to accommodate to different language(Hindi) for me. Combining such personal touches to give quality care to her patients really shows that she care.

PLEASE READ ENTITE REVIEW FIRST OF ALL, stay away from this doctor. -POOR bedside manners -does not let you finish explaining ANYTHING -CUTS YOU OFF -blood pressure is never taken correctly (cuff should be at the very top of upper arm and the arm should rest on thigh NOT RAISED) -checking lung sounds...THE STETHOSCOPE IS NOT EVEN TOUCHING MY BODY when she tells me to breathe in and out -cannot underatand a word she says -does not want to listen to any of your symptoms/complaints and immediately tries to diagnose too soon -assumes because someone is young and never had any issues before, that nothing could possibly be wrong EVER -shows NO empathy -poor communication -poor listening skills (or ignorant listening skills) -because my insurance is the lower one, I’m sure she doesn’t care for me so my visit is not even 2 minutes. Wants me in and out. -AVOID THIS DOCTOR.
