Stupid statement...
Awful, still have never seen or met the man. The staff of which I have talked to many of them are not very helpful or nice. The first time I was there, I was told I was early that my appointment wasn't till 1:30 I told the girl my appointment was for 1:15 she said no 1:30 to sit down they were running late. Arriving home, I listened to my answering machine and as I thought there were 2 messages reminding my appointment was at 1:15. Back to my appointment I was finally called and waited in a little room all by myself for an hour, finally someone came in and gave me a paper regarding the sleep center and told me a bit about it. I really think that they had some kind of a party going on. I have made phone calls with questions and gotten no answers. Good luck to anyone that chooses to go here. Patricia Needham

Excellent Care
I have had lung disease for 20 years and I credit Dr. Yadegar with keeping me healthy and enabling me to live a normal life. I was in Providence Tarzana Hospital after my second bout of Covid and received outstanding care from Dr. Yadegar, Dr. Eshaghian and all the wonderful nurses and respiratory therapists. I feel so lucky. A few months later, I am completely back to normal, doing yoga, Zumba and playing pickleball.

One word: Frustrating!!
Dr. Yadegar had come highly recommended but my experience was rather frustrating. While Dr. Yadegar maybe renowned and well informed in pulmonology, I found it strange that for an introductory visit, I never met with him and dealt only with a barrage of seemingly disinterested nurses running breathing tests through which I was made to feel extremely awkward and in the end couldn't get conclusive results on my condition. After a while, I did see a PA, who was very attentive, but in a sense only refilled a prescription for a steroid I'd received from a prior ER visit. I showed up a month later for a follow up appointment, but waited way too long only to be asked whether or not the steroid worked well enough, and not have my lungs rechecked. I called back after I'd finished with my prescription, feeling worse and was told by a disengaged staff member that the doctor would call be back. Long story short, it's been a week & I've had to seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Yadegar has been caring for my mother for the past six years. He is always very kind and patient with her, he spends the time and actually listens to her questions and concerns and we never feel rushed through her appointments. He has provided excellent advice and treatment options for her, and he always remembers her special needs when it comes to treatment and medications so we are not constantly repeating ourselves. Additionally, his staff is amazing - from the front office to the nurses and medical assistants - everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful. My mom requires a medication that is not covered by Medicare and Dr. Yadegar and his staff worked with us to qualify her for a program that significantly reduced the co-pay. When that program ended, they did it once again for another program. Most doctors would not be bothered with all that hassle, but Dr. Yadegar was so gracious! We highly recommend Dr. Yadegar - you will not find a more caring physician!

I have snored for the past 25 years. Finally, my wife and daughter suggested that I do a sleep study. Dr. Yadegar had a sleep study kit mailed to my house. Once completed, the kit (with digital measurements) was mailed back to be evaluated. My result: more than 50 apneas per hour. No wonder I was snoring. Moreover, I could not get into REM sleep - no dreams!!! I selected a quiet CPAP machine - soft nasal pillow for each nostril, gently forcing air into my airway through the nostrils. Before CPAP, my wife could not get a good sleep because of my snoring. After the CPAP, I have 1 or less apneas per hour! I wake up refreshed. I have more energy - gym workout use to last only 30 minutes; now, I workout 1 or 1.5 hours straight - no exhaustion. THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. THE SLEEP STUDY IS DONE IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN HOME. Dr. Yadegar followed me throughout the entire process; plus, his office staff was always available. DO THIS NOW BEFORE YOU LOSE ANOTHER NIGHT OF SLEEP.

I am a retired physician and I have been a patient of Dr. S. Thomas Yadegar for over six years. I have had two independent episodes of lung cancer (although a nonsmoker) and gave seen Dr. Yadegar and his staff on numerous occasions. They have provided outstanding care and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Dr. Yadegar is thorough as well as understanding. He devotes adequate time and I never feel rushed. His staff is equally professional going beyond the usual services to provide a personal touch to each visit.

Dr. Yadegar is treating my severely disabled sister for chronic respiratory problems. His advice has always yielded successful results, and he has been instrumental in keeping her alive during the seven years he has supervised her medical care. Seriously, if you want help from one of the most innovative and knowledgeable minds in the field of lungs, it’s Dr. S. THOMAS YADEGAR. Ask google, there are even TV clips. What about the staff interactions and the “feel” of the offices? Amazingly, they echo the compassion and kindness emanating from Dr. Yadegar. My experience through the years with this medical practice is that I matter to them and they always go that extra mile for me.

I have suffered from asthma/ chronic bronchitis since I was a teenager which had severely limited my activities and quality of life. Dr Yadegar has been treating me for more that 20 years. Because of his excellent care, my symptoms have been under control for years. I also work at Providence Cedars Sinai Tarzana Medical Center and have seen, first hand, the kind, compassionate and exceptional care and attention he provides to our patients. He is committed to providing individualized treatment for each of his patients. During this Covid pandemic he has been dedicated to keeping our patients, staff, and community safe and healthy. He has been on the forefront of understanding how this virus works and has worked tirelessly in battling it, as well as informing and educating other medical professionals and the community. As a long time patient and long time colleague, I would highly recommend Dr. Yadegar.

We are very fortune to know Dr Yadegar. He is a very knowledgeable Pulmonologist and an asset to Providence Tarzana/ Cedars Sinai hospital. He works tirelessly responding to all our Covid related questions. He is one of the few doctors who treats each patient individually monitoring their symptoms and adjusting their treatments. He is on the cutting edge of understanding how this virus reacts to all ages and ethnicities. He has a great bedside manner & always takes the time to keep us informed. There is no “one treatment for all” and Dr. Yadegar explains which treatment may work the best. We are very grateful and consider ourselves lucky to find such a highly professional physician. His staff were very courteous and pleasant to deal with. You would be in good hands with Dr. Yadegar

I was recently treated by Dr. Yadegar for Covid. He is a very kind, knowledgeable, experienced and professional physician. He took time to listen to my symptoms, explained what treatment I needed in a very patient and caring manner and followed up with me until I was feeling better. He went above and beyond and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His staff is very friendly, eager to help and made it easy for me to get in touch with him. I referred my family members to him and he treated them exceptionally well. It gave me peace of mind that they were in his care. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by and I would highly recommend him for your medical care.

Dr. Yadegar saved my life and I am forever indebted to him. My Oxygen level had dropped below 90 and he admitted me into the hospital. I was recently diagnosed with Covid. Apart from the fact that I was feeling extremely sick, I was also very scared - I had just lost my uncle a week before to Covid. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Yadegar for his exceptional care and his individualized plan to treat me. Not only did he treat me for Covid but his reassurance that I can fight this and will be able to recover, made all the difference. Dr. Yadegar is extraordinarily skilled while being so kind and empathetic.
