Unprofessional
I am a 95-year-old woman with severe neck pain. The doctor sent me for an MRI and I was told she would call me at 10 AM with the results of the MRI and a plan for pain management. At 10 AM the receptionist called and said that there was an outstanding balance of $100 that Medicare did not cover. That was my Medicare copayment for the year I explained to her that the full copayment was made to my primary doctor and that she should call him to rectify if there is a problem. When I asked her if the doctor was going to speak to me she said that this problem had to be rectified first. I find that unprofessional and also with no compassion for her patients. I asked her if that meant that if the problem was not rectified for a week that I would not be able to speak with Dr. Dugar she said hold on spoke with the doctor and the doctor said yes. Very sad At that point I realize that this doctor was just in the business for the money enough for the care of Her patients.

I am doing 3 stars because she is a great doctor. But i just called to cancel my appt because I am not going to be able to leave early from work and the clerk told me I am going to be charged for a fee because I cancelled in kess than 24hrs. which is very unfair and she was super rude. If the doctor wants to see me again I think my contact info is in there. But I felt extremely uncomfortable with this situation. Nobody deserves to be charged extra fees when a patient is calling in advance to let them know is not going to be able to make it due to work... But ist ok. Hopefully im not having a heart attack with the meds im taking...

Fantastic doctor!! My primary care doctor told me to see a particular rheumatologist. But after seeing his horrible reviews online, I decided to cancel my appointment with him and found Dr. Dugar online. She has great reviews, and I must say after my visit, I agree with all of them. Dr. Dugar is so reassuring, she answered all my questions. I have had two visits with her so far, and each time she has been wonderful. So happy I found her!!

Dr Dugar is an excellent doctor. When I first became a patient of hers, I was in rough shape and in intense pain. I thought it might even force me into early retirement. In a bit over a year, I was pain free and in remission. A place I thought wasn't even possible. She is a fantastic doctor and I recommend her highly to anyone who is experiencing the horrible effects of RA..

This doctor provided the worst service ever! because I didn't have cash she did not see me. She locked herself in the room. I pleaded with the receptionist because I was in a lot of pain. The receptionist asked the doctor if she could speak to me and the doctor said no. I do not recommend this doctor.

Amazing experience, she is so nice thorough and really treats you like your own family. I have been to many rheum doctors in the Queens area but I have been mostly disappointed, the wait times were like 4-5 hours and the time with the doctor only 4-5 minutes, ridiculous but not the case here. She spends a lot of time with you and makes you feel really comfortable. Wish I found her sooner.

This is unacceptable treatment, and if you are looking for a doctor to make you feel better, please find another doctor as she will only make you feel worse. Out of all the doctors I have seen, Shaifali Dugar has been the worst. The way she speaks to her patients, and her attitude is one that is just plain unacceptable and rude. I could not see her for two months because of a personal family emergency, and she responded to me with attitude and anger. Her cash only co-pay is odd as well.

Dr. Dugar diagnosed my condition and treated me in two appointments when a major hospital failed to do so. She is very caring and genuinely wants to help her patients. Her staff makes you feel at home and the waiting room has two TV's. The wait times are short and Dr. Dugar is very good at following up with her patients.
