Shady
The staff was nice enough but had not scheduled me the correct appointment. They did fix that but then….after taking my copay for insurance that would have paid for my testing (and by taking my copay they clearly were going to file the insurance and collect money) …. They proceed to come in and tell my that my out of pocket expense for this would be more than $900! I work with others who have been to that office and have the same insurance that I have and they did not have to pay like that. I don’t know what they have changed in their policy but that was clearly about to be some shady dealings where my insurance was concerned! I left. And I will not go back. I plan to call my insurance to find out the details on exactly what they would pay… but at this point even if they paid 100% I would not go back to this office. Furthermore, I made the appointment and was then handed off to 2 different nurse practitioners.

Unbelievable
My daughter has issues allergy asthma. She just started her shots. We were told that she didn’t have to return to school yet by the nurse practitioner. We NEVER seen the actual doctor either. NEVER met her nothing just the nurse practitioner. She changed my daughter’s medication to something stronger to help her. She then lied to us saying she never said that My daughter can do homeschool just to cover her butt. When I called her out on it she called me a liar. Nope I won’t be coming back to this place. I immediately called another doctor that she will be going to. Just because they think that they can do whatever they want and we have nothing to say wrong. There was 4 ears that heard what she said. Can’t trust them. I rather have a doctor with poor manners and not sugarcoat stuff then one that lies to you. Best of luck to anyone that comes here.

My daughter is a patient at the Johnson city office and has had to miss 2 out of 4 weeks for her weekly allergy shot due to unexpected office closures. They are only open one day a week in Johnson City and my daughters serum is kept at the Johnson City office. This means that she does not have an option to miss her weekly shot. There are no notifications or communication plans for this practice to notify their patients of this terrible inconvenience. When called and asked they simply state we put a sign up on the door when we know we are not able to be open on these days and we are going to have to close an office tomorrow due to a nurse practitioner being called in for jury duty. This is horrible patient care and I would not recommend anyone to go to this practice.
