After completing some tests, he determined that I was fine, but he wanted to see me for a follow-up appointment. At that follow-up appointment, I waited over one and a half hours before having to walk out because of another appointment; then, at the rescheduled appointment, which was three months later, I waited over one and half hours again to be told that I’m fine (based off just my blood pressure reading from the initial check in that day, which was in the elevated range), and the actual appointment lasted less than 30 seconds. When I expressed that I’ve experienced unreasonably long wait times and that something should be done to fix that shortcoming because his patients have other appointments, work commitments, and obligations, he responded by saying (paraphrasing): long wait times here are normal and just don’t schedule anything else around your appointment. This is completely unacceptable, and I’ll be searching for another cardiologist.
