Dr Quddusi has been a good resource over the last 10+ years… but her front desk staff is too disrespectful and difficult to work with for me to continue seeing her.

Great doctor wants to help you do your best
I have seen her since 2001. She has saved my life. She is a great doctor. She helps me deal with diabetes. At one time I moved far away and still traveled to her. I owe her my life, my sight, and my kidneys. Thank you for being awesome!

I write this review in contest to a final invoice from a place where I was a patient in excellent standing for four years before disagreeing with a charge that came AFTER I was no longer a patient. This post is not about a $51 charge. That's far from an amount of money worth arguing about. It's about recognizing that your staff did not disclose a charge and refusing to serve a customer with excellence. When contesting this charge, here is what Rose, the Patient Account Representative wrote, "Per Dr. Quddusi, services rendered, charges stands. Please submit payment within 30 days or account will be sent to collection agency." That's how they treat a patient of over four years who not once had an unpaid invoice. It saddens me, really. I was genuinely grateful for Dr. Quddusi's excellent care and advice. But to end on a note of such petty and unprofessional miscommunication and the bill for that failure to disclose a charge does reflect on her office.

Dr. Qudussi helped me with type 2 diabetes for many years & she was always thoughtful and caring about my treatment. With my increasing AIC levels and weight she managed my injections (including insulin) with intelligence and honesty. My path led to her recommendation for gastric bypass surgery. Since then, my life has changed in amazing ways for the better. Dr. Qudussi will be honest and direct about her assessment of your struggles & supportive of your journey to better health. No more injectables & dramatic weight loss. Sad, though as all I need is my primary physician. She changed my life.

Dr. Quddusi is a great doctor. I am a type 1 diabetic and she has helped me so much and so often over the years. She is willing to explain conditions and treatment. She has literally saved my life more than once.

She is absolutely the best doctor I could hope for. I am not good at being diabetic, I have type one diabetes, I think I have been seeing her for close to 30 years. 3 different office .She listens and helps with whatever your are going thru. If not for her care, I might not be here! She really cares and tries to help you to take care of yourself.

This doctor should not be practicing. She treated me with complete disdain and unprofessionalism. She had a 4th year medical student do my entire intake, and only came in to give me a speech about nutrition (which I have already incorporated prior to seeing her) and tell me no doctor would ever be able to help me without either weight loss drugs or surgery (I weigh 160 lbs and believe I have a thyroid issue). All of this without seeing my current bloodwork or listening to any of my intake. I was there for over 2 hours and saw her max 10 mins of that time. She even lifted up my dress to point out where my fat was to her male medical student (I am a female). Horrible horrible experience...my first time ever writing a review for a doctor. Cried the whole way home from being mortified and treated so awfully.

There are 10 one star reviews, why can't I see any of them? I would advise any type 1 diabetics to look elsewhere. Condescending. Long wait in the room and she wants to know why there's tension in the air?

I am in insulin dependent Type II diabetic. I have had diabetes mellitus for almost fifty years. I have been under the care of Dr. Quddusi for approximately 15 years. I owe my sustained good control of diabetes to the excellent, professional, and courteous care of Dr. Shaista Quddusi.

I have never left a review about a Dr until now. Doc, as my husband would call her, was the most caring person. Her heart felt treatment of him was beyond the care of any Dr we have had. She truly cared and we knew it. She was kind, compassionate yet professional and an excellent Dr. She always took extra time to explain every stage of my husband's illness. Thank you Dr Q!

As an RN I am always looking for providers who are comprehensive in their care and knowledge. A co-worker recommended her to my husband and I went along to assess her abilities to care for him. I was so impressed that now I see her as a patient and have referred my mother to her as well.

I saw Dr Quddusi one month after having surgery for a hyperparathyroid adenoma. Pronounced cured by my surgeon ( Douglas Sorensen MD) I still felt HORRIBLE and was told perhaps I had something else going on. Discouraged and desperate, I referred myself to Dr Quddusi. Rather than scold, she assured me that recovery sometimes is SLOW and that I had a new body that would take time to adjust. I left her office with hope and she was absolutely right!Today, I am well and eternally grateful.
