I cannot recommend Dr. Shalini Mahajan highly enough! After visiting specialists for 11 years, I finally found a doctor who truly cares. From the moment I talked to Dr. Mahajan I knew she was going to help me. Her wonderful staff, is so friendly. Both Medical Assistant’s, Jasmine Bedi and Madeline Sellinger are so attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond getting my medical records, facilitating my lab work and tests. The office manager, Arthur, ensured that my appointment was scheduled swiftly, making the entire process seamless.Dr. Mahajan took the time to really listen to my concerns and provided hope for the first time in years. Her thorough approach to diagnosing my condition is nothing short of remarkable. I felt genuinely cared for, and her expertise is evident. I was suffering from joint stiffness, muscle ache, weakness and overall tiredness. Visited various rheumatogist, and neurologist in the Palm Desert area with no success as to a diagnosis. Eventually was recommended to Dr. Mahajan at Cedar Sinai in Los Angeles. In a joint effort with Dr. Daniel Wallace and Dr. Mahajan I was diagnosed with myocitus and initiated treatment within a couple of visits. The treatment is long term (so far 9 months) but I'm on the way to recovery. Dr. Mahajan has been very clear and up front on what is occurring and what to expect during the treatment. She is very articulate, respectful, and, of course, very knowledgeable. I feel I'm in good hands and would recommend her for those with similar issues.

I was referred to Dr. Mahajan by my previous neurologist that felt she was the best doctor within the SoCal area to address my Myasthenia Gravis (MG) condition. Even though Dr. Mahajan’s office was about 45 miles from my home, I made an appointment.I have been extremely pleased with her efforts to reduce and control the severity of my MG symptoms. When we meet, we review my overall health, discuss options we have to address my conditions, then go forward with a plan and desired outcome to evaluate each time we meet. I have been able to reduce the amount of  Pyridostigmine I take daily gaining back strength to do things I thought I would never be able to do again. Dr. Mahajan monitors my condition via monthly blood tests and her office calls me monthly just to see how I am doing and if there is anything I need from the Doctor. I also meet with her about every 3 months whether via teleconference or in person. I would recommend to anyone that has MG to contact Dr. Mahajan.

Had a procedure recently and she determined that the previous diagnosis was not accurate. She is extremely knowledgeable, easy to interface with her and has passion for her profession. The staff is great as well! Highly recommended. I had a face-to-face appointment as well as a video call with the doctor.

I'm a retired physician. I know top care when it's given. Dr. Mahajan is the 'real deal', both in her professional and interpersonal skills. I could not have been happier! And her staff was superb as well

Dr. Mahajan and her staff are thoroughly professional. My appointments are always on time and the follow up is impressive. Dr. Mahajan listens, asks insightful questions, always comes prepared and clearly explains my health issues.

She only cares about money. I also don't believe her diagnosis or medication choice was correct.

I want to start off with a thank you to Dr Mahajan! Honestly I have never had such a thorough & very professional most of all key point knowledge & experienced. Dr Mahajan literally went out of her way to check and test and treat every symptom from past to present. She addressed all my answers, sent me for bloodwork I never seen blood work be taken in so many tubes I knew I was in the right and best hands. A Doctor to be that thorough shows you the passion of her care for her patients. I am so grateful to be in her care and to know I have answers and not jumping around non informative doctors that only do the bare minimum. With just 2 visits and one virtual visit because I live far I got all of my answers. I highly recommend for any person that is looking for care that fits her profession to definitely make an appointment and see her right away! She is direct, kind, respectful, and a real Doctor. Last year, my mother developed a rapidly increasing muscle weakness, and several other doctors didn't know how to help her. When she arrived at Dr. Mahajan's office, she was taken seriously and the doctor was the only one who knew what to do. She set up a treatment plan that has helped enormously. She is almost all better and we were very worried as she was on a steep decline. We are so grateful for Dr. Mahajan's knowledge, empathy, listening, and brilliance!

I've been working with Dr. Mahajan for the last few months related to myriad of issues stemming from muscle weakness, atrophy, and nerve pain. Dr. Mahajan was a true professional, empathetic, and I always felt like I was under the care of someone that cared about my health as a patient but also a human. I've worked with many Neurologists and she is the best I've ever worked with. Her staff is also exceptional. I recommend Dr. Mahajan and her practice with 100% confidence.

I'm not the toughest case but not the easiest MG patient.Prior to meeting Dr. Mahajan, I had seen two other neurologists that claimed expertise with MG. I'm thrilled to now have Dr. Mahajan as the expert in her field on my team. She has a terrific personality and understanding of the disease. She's always available and patient when explaining the current plan and future possibilities. I hope one day a cure is found or a pill vs infusion, but in the meantime, I'm extremely pleased to know her and her team.

I was called the day before my visit that has been scheduled for months that she no longer accepts my insurance and will be billing out of pocket over $1000. This was for the second part of a test that she refused to do with the first part because it was too intensive. She spent 12 minutes with me during the first test and wouldn't complete the second.It seems clear that she's just trying to bill insurance as much as possible and knew that I lived over 3 hours away and was severely ill so that this is a massive undertaking for me.Never before has a doctor physically hurt me so badly by having absolutely no regard for the individual she is 'treating'.

Dr. Shalini Mahajan and her team display the professionalism and compassion a patient hopes they experience when seeking assistance from medical professionals. Dr. Mahajan listens to her patients’ needs/concerns and provide feedback while being positive and thorough in her explanation. I have initiated contact with her during off duty hours and she always responds in a timely manner. She, and her team, sets the bar very high and all other medical professionals should follow her approach to providing medical care to their patients.

After suffering for years with extreme chronic illness and severe pain, I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Mahajan. She listened to me, read my medical charts, paid attention to details, evaluated me, ran appropriate tests and performed a biopsy. She took the time and energy to consult with my other doctors and come up with a plan to literally rescue my failing health and I believe, helped to save my life. Dr. Mahajan got on the phone with my insurance and was able to convince my insurance plan that I needed her recommended treatment plan. She fought for me and my failing health. After a year and a half under her care, my health has improved dramatically! Dr. Mahajan is exceptional. Not only is she a top rate doctor, she is also a top notch human being. She truly cares and I consider myself incredibly lucky to be under her care.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Shalini Mahajan, MD for a follow up appointment. I have been in search for a diagnosis for a health issue. I have seen numerous neurologists with no diagnosis. I thought it best to see a triple board certified neurologist. I received a disheartening phone call from Doctors assistant cancelling my appointment as Doctor couldn't do anything different for me. Dr. Shalini Mahajan, MD Didn't even have the audacity to examin me, call me or assist me in any way. Emotion aside, she shouldn't practice medicine if she doesn't want to help patients but instead dismiss them. Proceed with caution as she lacks compassion and medical integrity in my opinion.

Dr Mahajan explained everything very clearly; she was patient and not rushed; she answered all my questions in a manner that I could understand; she was empathic and showed real concern for my well being; and she "knows her stuff."

I was suffering with nerve pain in my face for the last three years. I went to various different doctors, including TMJ specialists. Then with some luck, I was referred to Dr. Shalini Mahajan. Dr. Mahajan had a different approach and combined two medication’s to treat the pain. Within a few months, the pain decreased and over time it’s almost completely gone. She takes her time during office visits, does the tests that she thinks are necessary, listens to my symptoms and is a kind and caring doctor. Her support staff is extremely efficient and refills prescriptions immediately at the pharmacy. If you are experiencing nerve pain, I highly recommend you see Dr. Mahajan at Attune Health because I believe she’s tops in her profession.

Dr. Shalini Mahajan is an outstanding Musculoskeletal Neurologist. Due to her proficiency, empathy, diagnosis, and proper course of action, I feel confident I’m under the best possible medical care to hopefully alleviate some of my neurological symptoms. Resulting from an auto accident on 12.13.21, I’ve had steadily progressing nerve issues/pain from head to toe (literally). From my 1st appt., I've been greeted by Abhinav Dr. Mahajan’s wonderful PA, and escorted to my examination room. Promptly, Dr. Mahajan enters, and her calming demeanor always puts me at ease. Her exams are comprehensive, her neurological expertise is extraordinary, and her clear explanations and guidance have been exemplary. After several scans and tests, I became aware of some of my neurological maladies, and how to potentially ameliorate the issues. My most recent surgery was a ruptured pinky. After completing PT, I’ll discuss my progress with Dr. Mahajan, and learn her thoughts of my next steps.

My visit to Dr. Mahajan was a follow-up to a visit to another neurologist. I was so pleased with the her gracious demeanor and her articulate and clear assessment of my condition. Dr. Mahajan is charming as well as highly professional. I wish she practiced internal medicine as well. I would choose her in a heart-beat as my primary care physician.
