Very compassionate with great listening skills to get to the bottom of our child's behavioral issues. One of the best psychiatrists I have worked with.

Outstanding care!
Dr. Ampiah is always available and takes her time. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think we were her only patient. I am so glad we have her working with our child.

Dr. Amphiah saw my daughter 3 times, and made such a tragically terrible and impulsive decision at her final appointment that it has ruined my daughters ability to see anyone affiliated with Baptist behavioral forever. Now, 3 years later we are still struggling to find doctors that can see her that accept our insurance because they’re all affiliated with them. As a pediatric psychiatrist I would expect some level of understanding and compassion for the patient you’re dealing with but she has zero. When people are so broken down and at a loss for help they end up taking their own life we wonder “how did they not just seek help?” But here’s what we’re faced with. Providers not accepting insurance, the ones that do are next to impossible to get in with, and the ones that you can get in to see, don’t care about patient quality of life. It’s a tragedy all around. Shameful. Absolutely shameful.
