My best friend didn’t get the help she needed
Had her symptoms been properly addressed, TIMELY, I believe she would still be here today. It’s been over a year since her death and the loss is still so painful and EVERY TIME I see or hear anything about breast cancer, I recall how long it took to recognize the symptoms were those of a cancer patient and the number of times she had to see Providers who were on-call in your absence. WE DESERVE BETTER!!!!

Dr. Palmer left no stone unturned in doing a thorough work up when I got diagnosed with breast cancer. Me and my husband had many many questions but I did not feel like she was in a rush. I'm sure she had other patients waiting but she sat with us and answered every single question. Very nice, kind and caring doctor. Very honest too. She was upfront in telling us that it could not be cured but did not take away our hope.

Gives the facts with no compassion. Will say things like I don't want to force something down a patient throat, but do you recognize this is not going away? We are not talking years. We are probably talking weeks. Will repeatedly ask if the patient is accepting of that. It's not easy to say an not easy to hear an I'm sorry. This basic dialog will in fact be forced down your throat. Especially if the patient says they have been feeling really well. Her reply yea but your not.
