I went to Urgent Care for something in my eye that had been there for about 24 hrs. When finally seeing the “dr.” He engaged me with questions in a tone as if I were a child and upon immediately entering the room seemed very unhappy and frustrated, it couldn’t have been about me because he brought it to the room with him. He said I had Conjunctivitis and refused to entertain the idea that I even had anything in my eye despite telling him I could feel it occasionally dislodging and moving around deep in the eye. He was argumentative and ultimately performed a flushing procedure; the “flush” was done with my head tilted to the side and instead of flushing the eye he squirted the solution down the side of my face, only directing the fluid stream into my eye twice and so brief it couldn’t have done anything, he did this as if I couldn’t feel what was happening. Later an eyelash came out and my condition of redness cleared up overnight. No antibiotics required for the “Conjunctivitis”.
