Poor experience. After repeated requests with his office from me and the Insurance Co. Neither of us have had any response. It's been 5 business days since my appt. still no med to treat my Diabetes. Initial impression of Dr Parseghian ' No concern for the needs of his patients 'I am a diabetic without any medication to treat my condition

Excellent physician
I have been a patient of Dr. Parsegian for a few years now. I find him to be a caring practitioner who spends a great deal of time on each appointment. He has managed my diabetes and brought down my A1C levels to less than 6. He explains the action of my medication so I know what is happening with my body. I highly recommend him for diabetes care.

Patronizing
He refused to complete a prior authorization when my insurance did not approve my insulin. When I started working with a nutritionist weekly he scoffed and asked how much I was paying her. Then implied that was a waste of my money. I think he felt the 5 minute visit he had with me was of more value. It was not. I learned to control my diabetes on my own and taught myself a lot. After I refused to meet with him the office scheduled appointments on my behalf without my permission. Find a different provider!

Revolving door staff and providers.
This was my 3rd provider (4 if you count Parseghian) and they still can't seem to commit to keeping a start time. It got to a point when the receptionist has to ask who I was and why I was there (after checking in a half hour prior). Patient's time matter. During one of the many reminders that I even *had* an appointment, they erroneously said it was with the same provider I had the last time. Wrong. I didn't see Parseghian in 2023, it was a totally different person. I would have preferred to know who I *was* seeing (N.P. Murphy) because he had the personality of a block of cardboard. N.P. Murphy was at least caring, bubbly and supportive. I've seen more from him during my last oil change. So yeah, get some more caring providers and a staff that can read a patient's history. I'm going back in May - it may be my last.

It is extremely rare that I actually write a review for anything. The care provided to me by Dr. Parseghian and his staff have compelled me to do just that. You can trust Dr. Parseghian with your health. In only a few short months he took me from a glucose level of 486 ( you read that correctly I'm afraid ), all the way down to the 120's. In 60 days he was able to get my A1C from 17 ( again, that's not a typo either, I'm afraid ), all the way down to a 9 ( and we're still working on it ). If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, I promise you that this is your guy. I personally, had bet my life on it, and here I am, still around to write a review. Thank you for a second chance at this life. My heart-felt gratitude to Dr. Parseghian and his elite team.

Would not recommend for Type 1 Diabetes
I'm an RN and have been managing my Type 1 Diabetes for 15 years and am very familiar with the stresses of working as a healthcare worker. Dr. Parseghian refused to refill my prescription for insulin twice without explanation when I had saw him in-office not 5 months prior. Because of this, I had to buy an over the counter insulin at walmart that works entirely differently. Because I am a nurse, I was able to safely adjust my doses, but if this was not the case I would've ended up in the hospital for DKA. He was also generally dismissive in person when I brought up specific concerns.

Worst Patient Care
Dr. Parseghian is the absolute worst endocrinologist that I have ever been treated by for my diabetes. He has absolutely no bed side manners. Treats my needs as laze' fair, and without any concern for patient care. The secretarial staff is the worst that I have ever experienced at a doctor's office. The Office Manager Linda thinks she is better than everyone else in the world. She needs to come down off of her high horse and come back down to earth. The medical assistant for Dr. Parseghian is very good at her job as well as his nurse No one ever answers the phone at this office, all they ever say on the recording is leave a message and they'll get back to you in a few days. And to communicate by using the patient portal for messaging. This place is totally disgusting and should be reported. I'm surprised anyone would dare to give this doctor a 5 star rating. This place is pathetic!

Very thorough, personable, explains in detail, and listens to your input. Had the same endo for years so when he retired I was very hesitant with a new MD but wish I switched years ago. Can’t say enough about Dr P and his staff.

Worst of the worst doctor He made me wait for 1hr...came only after I asked his assistant. Didn't do any check up .. no listening to my health issues... Didn't change my 125mg dose when my TSH is 0.1. Worst doctor I have seen in my lifetime.

The doctor told me everything and walked me thru the process and what could be my issue. Even if I thought I should contact him about something, he was there with another round of tests and contacted me immediately after the results regarding what we should do next. He knows my family history and is concerned to make sure I don’t suffer the same fate.

I unfortunately did not have a good visit with Dr. Parseghian... I believe I am an understanding person that is cognizant of how hard this unprecedented time is on everyone, doctors especially. However I believe Dr. Parseghian's behavior was quite unprofessional, and made my new diabetes diagnosis quite hard to deal with. The Dr. spent 90% of the appointment silently typing on the computer, and the rest either asking my brief questions or handing me pamphlets. He was not at all cognizant of the fact that I had just gotten the diabetes diagnosis a week before and was still in a vulnerable state, he did not explain anything about my condition to me, nor what to expect, what the medication he prescribed to me did or what effect it would have on me, there is so much he did not talk to me about. He was just rushing to get out of the room and his behavior was cold and extremely unprofessional. Maybe this was him on a bad day, but either way please do not see this doctor.

When I was first diagnosed with hyperthyroidism / Graves Disease, he helped me get the treatment I needed to get my life back in order. For a while, things were good. However, as things progressed, my thyroid counts normalized but symptoms related to Graves Disease resurfaced. After a couple of visits where it was clear he wanted nothing to do with me because my thyroid counts were "normal", he finally explained to me that his role was to read my TSH and T4 counts and would only do anything if the lab results were not in the "normal" range. I had to hound him to run more extensive tests. He refused to run a full vitamin panel, he would only test vitamin D. I had to then wait weeks for my doctor's office to run more tests. Turns out I am B12 deficient which is common with Graves. Autoimmune diseases require a more thorough approach than Dr. Parseghian is able to provide. He is pleasant enough and seems to care--until your case is more than he can handle and then it's not his problem.

Dr. Parseghian was very precise in his discussion of osteoporosis with me. He elaborated on the condition and listened to my concerns very intently. I especially appreciated his use of a white board to illustrate his explanation of the condition. He saw me in a timely manner and spent an appropriate amount of time with me. I would highly recommend him to any new patients.

I visited Dr. Parseghian due to concerns about PCOS and had been referred by my primary care. He spent 10 minutes with me and completely dismissed my concerns after looking at my labs. He then told me that if I was just there because I wanted to lose weight he could prescribe me weight loss pills which was not at ALL one of my concerns going into my visit.

Hands down the worst doctor office I have ever spoken with. The office manager decided to move out my appoiment 3 months for no reason and said to bad. They give the worst customer care of any doctor in the USA. I STRONGLY advise never using this doctor unless you want to die.

I have seen a number of Diabetes Dr. to help control my Diabetes. Dr. Parseghian is by far the best. He is hands on with all the right equipment in the office. He spent the time to get to know me and listen to what my most pressing issues were and what my goals are. He looked at my continuous glose monitor results and programmed my insulin pump like he does it all day long and within a day my blood sugar readings were much better and after 3 months my A1C had dropped to under 7.

...I'm not one to write reviews/comments, but Dr. Parseghian is definitely worth my time for a review. Took his time, illustrated things, reviewed past history, thoroughly explained my situation and options, and was sincere when he asked if I had any questions or misunderstandings. Truly felt comfortable from the onset of my initial appointment.
