I just had my first appointment with Dr. Wei and I am highly impressed. What a personable and thoughtful specialist he is. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed, even though I was worried about my condition. He spent a lot of time with me and never appeared rushed or preoccupied. I am so pleased to have him as my neurologist. Though it took a long time to get my initial appointment (6 weeks), it was worth the wait. The MA who dealt with me was warm and competent as well. A positive experience.

I would not recommend Dr. Wei as a neurologist. Dr. seemed to not be listening terribly well, instead writing and looking things up online, he dismissed what I considered major symptoms, he did not explain anything he was doing while running tests, he ordered a number of blood tests that my primary care dr. had just done the week before with no medical justification, and there was no follow up on his end--I needed to reach out to him to figure out next steps. Needs more years of experience.

I've been seeing neurologists since birth due to a congenital condition. I recently moved to Portland and had to switch doctors. Dr Wei was great, he took the time to listen to my long history and went out of his way to really approach things with new eyes which has made a big difference in my quality of life!
