Highly Recommend
Dr. Israel is an excellent doctor. She has been my general practitioner for 13+ years and always finds the time to see me when I need to discuss health concerns. She is very thorough and interested in both my mental and physical health. I feel well cared for.

Terrible experience - uncaring and wrong diagnosis
Saw Dr. Israel after my primary doctor retired (same office). Had just been to emergency room for a nerve impingement in my neck. I was in extreme pain and hadn't slept in three days. She told me I "looked fine to her" and that she's had a stiff neck before and to take a bath....and that the emergency room doctor shouldn't have given me "any" pain medication. I went home disappointed and called a back specialist. He immediately diagnosed me with severe C7 nerve root impingement, realized I'd lost all strength in my tricep (Dr. Israel didn't even check for this) and recommended a high dose of meds to manage the pain. A few weeks later after laying on the floor for seven straight days and losing 20 pounds I was in surgery for a cervical disc replacement. Dr. Israel doesn't even have a clue all this happened...did she follow up to see how I was doing? No! My previous family doctor would have followed up multiple times to see how I was doing. Dr. Israel could care less....stay away!

The medical care Dr. Israel offered me was disheartening and irresponsible. I came after weeks of unusual and debilitating symptoms. She conducted one set of blood tests and concluded that there was nothing wrong. Over the next 6-7 months, her only concern seemed to be proving this initial diagnosis. She consistently made me feel like I was overreacting and insisted that I don't see any specialists. I ignored this advice and found specialists who eventually diagnosed my autoimmune disease.
