Very knowledgeable, caring provider. I have been seeing her for years, have never had an issue with the office staff very pleasant and personable. You do have to leave voicemails sometimes, but that is at any providers office.

Such a wonderful Dr.
I have had nothing but a positive experience since day 1. Dr Burnside takes the time to listen to my concerns and takes the time to work on a plan that is right for me. If I have question, she responds promptly.

dOcToR Sideburn should be ashamed. She will knowingly get you addicted to narcotics all for her own benefit. This woman is a complete quack and should have her medical license revoked.

I went to Dr. Burnside for around 9 years, always paid and felt she was the best. I was a recovering alcoholic and she diagnosed me with manic depression and schizophrenia and heavily medicated me. My hours were reduced at my job, losing my healthcare insurance and Rex plan. My husband passed away after 42 years of marriage at 62 suddenly. I didn’t have a vehicle and was unable to pay for my drugs. I received a letter stating she had dropped me as a patient because I didn’t show up for 3 different apptments. I couldn’t afford my meds and went cold turkey after taking them for 9 years. I got some good help after a very dark and deep depression and never took another drug or saw another doctor. It has been 4 years and I have never been better. Drug free and no more depression. Thank you for dumping me as a patient in the worst time of my life. You are some caring physician

I saw Dr. Burnside for years when I lived in the area. I can honestly say that if it weren't for her compassionate brand of care, I wouldn't;t be alive to write this review. She is amazing.

Dr burnside is the best doctor I have seen in a long time. She is very patient in helping to create a medication management plan. She gets me in as fast as possible if I am not doing well and need a medication change before my next appointment. She is always running on time and she really cares for her patients.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Burnside?
After I stopped seeing Sharon Burnside, I went by the office to pick up my records and later found out that they had also given me a lot of Protected Health Information about other patients. They accidentally gave me another provider's full day's schedule, with patient's names, dates of birth, phone numbers, and reasons for the visits. They also gave me some kind of form related to treatment another patient was receiving, including her name, date of birth, the type of treatment, and the hospital where she was receiving the treatment. Burnside had terrible "bedside manner." Her tone was always condescending or judgmental. She recommended a diagnostic test that has not undergone any rigorous studies in order to determine effectiveness. She has the typical psychiatrist habit of starting meetings late and ending them early, so if you're scheduled for 30 minutes you get more like 15. Her office is difficult to reach and they have no voicemail or electronic communication.

Very similar experience as person that posted July 2nd. I've heard great things about Dr. Burnside but receptionist and office manager said they did not take insurance for my Dad. I offered to pay directly, out of pocket, they claimed that was insurance fraud and hung up on me. I'm not sure when cash payment became fraudulent. Very sad, my Dad really needs the help.

When I called to inquire if she was accepting new patients for my son, the receptionist (I'm assuming) answered after several rings, "can I help you" with a hateful attitude. She said yes and ask about the insurance with another very negative tone. I realize Dr. Burnside may be the best choice I could have made, but with a receptionist speaking to potential clients like she did to me, I'll move along! First impressions goes a long way and I don't think someone who speaks in that tone should be in this industry.

Listed in the medicaid database as accepting patients, says online she accepts it but she does not. You call and they answer, "Thanks for calling our doctor's office," with no indication of who you are calling even though the office has a name.
