Would be happy to recommend her.
Very friendly. Always takes time to ask questions and answers my questions. I never feel I am imposing on her time even though I’m sure she has a heavy schedule. Very thorough.

Plan on Spending the Day
Terrible. I have only seen her once in about a year. I am usually scheduled with her nurse practitioner. Every visit finds me sitting in an exam room or waiting room for about an hour past my appointment time. I underwent two procedures they ordered, but left after sitting in an exam room for an hour. I was notified today that Dr. Jackson would call me this evening and discuss the results of my procedures. I stayed at home for her call, but never received it. Tomorrow I will be looking for another cardiologist.

Very competent and compassionate
We started out laughing about our college football allegiances. She then told me my EKG remained normal. We then had a lengthy discussion about my interest in the Watchman device and procedure. Dr. Jackson then did a brief physical exam of my lungs, heart and circulation. We concoct scheduling aTEE exam in z January to determine if I would be a candidate for the Watchman device.

Dr. Jackson always has time to hear my concerns.
Whenever I need in-depth understanding regarding my health, my medication, or what to expect regarding my long-term progression of illness, Dr. Jackson has given my questions her full attention. I am never hurried or made to feel guilty because I need a little more time.

Initial visit was ok. She answered my questions, scheduled tests, etc. Prescribed med which led to asthma exacerbation; a call to her office to discuss left me without a response for 4 days. I called back the 5th day leaving a message with who sounded like maybe a receptionist who passed the message along to her nurse, Rick who called the following day basically stating it wasn’t unusual not to get a response from the doctor in a week. I told him I would call every day until I received a response from the doctor. Rick was rude and condescending. He should be relieved of any triage responsibilities or be provided customer service training. This encounter has left me feeling that this is not the physician for me if she’s unable to respond within a reasonable time frame and this MA/nurse speaks to patients in the manner that he spoke to me.
