Wonderful doctor
I am 72 years old and have seen quite a few doctors in my life. Dr Van Nostran is by far the most intelligent and professional physician I have encountered. She took time to listen to my questions, discussed the likely cause of my issues and recommended several things that in just a short week greatly improved my health. I cannot say enough about her ability and caring. I have suggested to several family members they switch to her care.

The most rude physician I have ever met. She may seem nice, but I have walked past her office and heard her gossiping about her patients. Even I was fooled by her act until I heard what she says when she thinks patients are not around. For patients who have anxiety, she has them fill out a screening form prior to seeing them. As she waits in her office, she laughs and makes bets on how high the patient’s anxiety scores might be. She acts friendly to your face but does not care about helping people. It seems like she views her patients as annoyances that are only good for filling her wallet. Her temper is terrible and compares to that of a toddler. She is quickly angered. She usually takes out her frustration on her staff and treats them like slaves. As she walks into the patient’s room, she forces her staff to pull out the chair, as if she is above seating her arrogant behind on her own. Do not believe the positive reviews; she has likely secretly belittled those reviewers too.

Dr. Van Nostran is a wonderful clinician. She takes her time, looks you in the eye and listens to you. She has a scribe with her so she isn't buried in her computer while you are there and I was given a full summary of our visit upon my exit. Dr. Van Nostran is vivacious, engaging and very encouraging. I would recommend , and have, recommended her.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy physician that will have your best interest in mind, look elsewhere. I scheduled a check-up with Dr. Van Nostran, which my insurance covers, only to have it improperly processed as diagnostic visit. This is because she “diagnosed” me with asthma, a condition I’ve been treated for since childhood. My provider encouraged me to speak with my physician about changing the coding; however, after many phone calls I was still stuck with a hefty bill. Never returning.

I was just recently seen by this doc for some knee pain. Dr. Van Nostran was extremely thorough and knowledgable. She was in the room with me for over 20 minutes---- which says a lot since I've went to other doctors in the past who spend about 5-10 minutes to hear my complaint and send me on my way. I was so impressed with this physician that I'm taking the time to type this out into a review and that says a lot! :)

This office messed up getting me my emergency BP meds, despite 3 phone calls in 4 days. They also refused to issue me any pain medication after a skiing accident (at 63 years old). The doctor spent maybe 20-25 minutes with me. When I said I had one more question, I was told You're out of time.
