Awesome DR!
Dr. Bailey has just been amazing with all my care from the birth of my son to the loss of my son he has just been amazing very kind and compassionate. Then when my heart decided to go wonky on me he was on it and got me started on the cardiac meds and sent to a cardiologist! Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Listed by Medicaid as accepting new patients. When called to try and make an appointment, was given attitude by nurse, tried to gaslight me into thinking I’m the dumb guy for even calling. I called back to Medicaid to make sure the doctor was in fact accepting patients, and they reassured me he should be open for appointments. There has to be some training done. And this doctor needs to get a handle on which organizations he partners with and how they advertise his services. You know, instead of treating sick people like donkeys.

I chose Mr. Shawn E Bailey as my PCP, when I tried to make an appointment, the nurse said they aren't accepting new patients. My insurance plan was dumbfounded, said I was accepted as Mr. Shawn E Bailey's patient when I took the plan, but the nurse said "You never had an appointment, so you're not a patient." I tried to find out more information, but was just met with a harsher more belligerent tone. Now I have to switch my PCP's at mid-year, my choice because of this has whittled down to 3, and I'll be forced to drive around 100 miles for an appointment. It's nice to see a complete disregard for human care and interaction.. Summary: I called for a doctors appointment with my long time appointed PCP. Was told to look elsewhere, and made to feel like IM the one that messed up. No answers, no help, and a belligerent tone.

Dr. Bailey saw my Mother, Marla Marple, in the ER at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley, IL. Her sickness was his top priority. It was fortunate that he was on shift when she arrived at the ER. Marla suffered from multiple chronic health conditions. Dr. Bailey was very thorough. Because of this, it was discovered that she had contracted Mersa. He determined what she was ailing from. Treatment with antibiotics was immediately put into order. Although, she was too weak and too frail to win the fight against the infection, she might have suffered terribly without Dr. Bailey’s care. May she Rest In Peace and Harmony without sickness and pain.

I’ve had dozens of Drs and specialists + those my husband and children have needed. Dr Bailey is by far the best Dr our family has ever seen!! He spends time with his patients. We are not just a number, as he actually cares about and knows his patients. His knowledge and ability to explain it is unmatched by all of our other physicians combined, and if he doesn’t know a specialties answers / he does and will do research on his own to find answers for his patients. The best of the best!
