Best practice for Doctor , patient conversation. Dr Nakamura even took the time to address an injury problem that had nothing to do with hip and knee replacement. Leaving a medical appt with confidence in your options is GREAT MEDICINE.

He treated my wife on an emergency for a fractured hip. He concern for her has been great. Would refer anyone who needs surgery to him for the best care.

Dr. Nakamura is my orthopedic surgeon. He did my hip replacement a year ago and I consulted with him about a knee replacement this year. He is excellent. The preparation for surgery is very thorough and after, there is a chain to set up PT and follow up appts. with his staff. He tells you the facts and does not pressure you for a decision. He is also the best shot giver ever!

We needed a second opinion on a hip revision, and Dr. Nakamura and his team were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Two thumbs up!

I liked the professionalism of Dr Nakamura. He is the surgeon and acted like it. His enthusiasm is infectious when he talks about his accomplishments. With what he is able to do with his robotics, etc. His bedside Manner is wonderful. His great smile. I believe my entire care so far tells me I made the absolute right choice with Dr Nakamura. It’s been 9 days and I am doing great. I have a beautiful knee, precisely placed. I have before with and afters surgery been greatly cared for by his staff. Everyone has been so helpful and nice. GOOD TEAM! Thx guys!

My son broke his arm jumping on a trampoline, and we went straight to Dr. Nakamura after the initial ER visit. This break required surgery to insert a thin metal rod to keep his bones aligned while they healed, and later a second quick surgery to remove the rod. We fully trust all of Dr. Nakamura’s decisions and so appreciate his compassionate care for our son, and the way he explained every step so well to us. His PAs are great as well. Surgery at Castle Rock Adventist went well and they keep you well-informed of progress during the procedure by text—super helpful when you’re the parent and this is your child. Highly recommend Dr. Nakamura and his team!

He nor his office staff would answer my questions. They always said someone else would explain it to me. 7 days before surgery was scheduled I still had no answers, yet I believed I still needed a pre-op physical and some bridge medication. I was told I had to attend a zoom call but no one had called to set it up. I was indeed very frustrated. When I went to see my PC for a physical (I still didn't know if PC was supposed to do it but I was running out of time), they called his office to get paperwork and my PC was informed he had cancelled my surgery! He hadn't even informed me. Reason? I was frustrated and he didn't want to do it. Yes. I was frustrated. All it would have taken was to answer a few questions. Worst Dr experience I've ever had in over 60 years.

I just recently saw Dr. Nakamura for a monovisc injection in my left knee. I discussed with him wanting to replace my left knee at the end of June. He setup me up with his MA to get an early May appt for preliminary tests. I return to Dr. Nakamura because he did such an excellent job on my right knee.
