Dr. Shawn Tsuda, MD

Dr. Tsuda takes time to listen to his patients and personally follows up to ensure that everything is going ok after surgery. He helped me feel comfortable when I was very anxious.

I received a referral to Dr. Tsuda as one of the best hernia surgeons in Las Vegas. This was farthest from the truth. At the initial assessment, Dr. Tsuda claimed that my issue was going to be quick and easy, with limited soreness and discomfort and that I would be back at activity within the week. LOL. It has been a year since my surgery, and the multiple complications caused by the surgery, and the ongoing pain and discomfort and medical appointments that I have been experiencing, is all due to Dr. Tsuda.

I had a gastric sleeve on July 3, 2020 with Dr. Tsuda. Surgery went well, scars are unnoticeable. So far (7 months later), I have lost over 85 pounds. The NP Rayan was nice also, and I was able to contact him via his cell, which was very helpful.

I recently had laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery performed by Dr Tsuda and his team on 5/15/2020. Because of the time release meds he used I didn’t come close to needing narcotics. He also didn’t use synthetic mesh, instead using an animal implant mesh which had almost zero chance of infection or post op problems. My sexual function was retained and I was just about pain free in less than two weeks. I could not be happier with the outcome.

This doctor and his team are the best! I have been so impressed with the quality of care I’ve received between Dr. Tsuda and Brian Grace. They are super pro, but also casual so you’re comfortable. My surgery went as smooth as can be. Recovery time was minimal and I am so extremely happy I chose them!

Dr. Shawn Tsuda is amazing! Just when I thought there was no hope for me to ever get off PPI’s. I’m so glad I searched on YouTube and found videos of Dr. Tsuda talking about the new LINX procedure. I was very impressed when I met him in person, he was kind and gentle and listened w/a compassionate ear to my reflux experience. He understood and gave me back valuable information and renewed my hope for a life without acid reflux and daily pills. I highly recommend Dr. Tsuda!

The laparoscopic repair performed by Dr Tsuda has left me in chronic pain and sexual dysfunction in the right testicle. Also, when I excercise there is swelling in the pelvic area from the mesh and hardware. It's been 3 years since the surgery. Excercise is ruined and sex is very painful. Most definately would not recommend!!!!!!!!!

Dr Tsuda and his staff (Beverly and Renee) provided me vip 5 star treatment. The amount of care and respect they all show to a patient is over and beyond what anyone could wish for.
