Dr. Langstaff was on duty in the Emergency Department at St Francis Medical Center about 3 am on Sep 24, 2020. I sought treatment as I was complaining of severe heartburn, and did my best to convince her that I needed the cocktail administered in the ED. She evaluated and gave me the cocktail, but also said that as long as I was there, she wanted to run some other test. When the lab results came back, she opened the curtain and said, "You are not going anywhere - you've had a heart attack!" Dr. Langstaff's thoroughness, in not only listening to the patient, but also trusting her many years of Emergency Room experienced - SAVED MY LIFE. I never saw her again. Her behind the scenes quick actions had me taken up several floors for an immediate catherization followed by transport to Penrose for a triple bypass surgery the following morning. I understand she was just doing her job, but she did it so perfectly! In my book, Dr. Langstaff earned the title of My Lifesaving Hero 2020!

I just saw this provider & not happy w the level of care. I sat in the waiting rm longer than the amount of time she saw me. I was brought back to my room & told to change into a gown. Before I could the tie top string if the gown Dr Langstaff walked in w/ a male assistant. I literally had just walked in the room & didn’t even get to sit down, or finish tying the gown. The guy stood by the sink with a laptop & the Dr. across the bed. I explained that I had a procedure done earlier in the day & was having odd symptoms after. About 16 hrs of pain after this procedure. I had swelling & other weird feelings, like tingling & numbness. I got a blank stare & she looked up the results of my procedure & imaging result that i had BEFORE the procedure. Which I HAVE NO IDEA how that relates to the symptoms i was having after the procedure. She said your procedure results where normal so you are good to go. 4-5 mins total visit for nothing& she said give it another day from this procedure.

So disappointed in the careI received from this doctor ! I went to Penrose the early part of June ! My leg was extremely swollen and I had pretty bad pain ! Dr. Langstaff acted as though she was to busy to care less about why I came to the ER ! I was constantly interrupted as I was trying to explain my symptoms ! Dr. Langstaff automatically said my knee was injured because I have a bad back ! I know having a bad back does interfere with my gait when I am walking , however if she took two seconds to listen to me she would have known this was a different symptom ! I kept asking for an explanation as to why without listening she came to this conclusion in less than a minute ! Seriously, some of the worst bed side manner I have ever experienced! It’s sad when you have to return to the ER and hour after being sent home in hopes of seeing a different DR. who at least will take the time to listen ! I had an injury that required surgery ! Very disappointed in the way I was treated!

Went to ER for chest pain and after a long wait, Dr. Langstaff came in for literally 2 minutes to curtly tell me what tests would be run. When all that was completed, Dr. Langstaff came in for literally 4 minutes to curtly tell me the results and to follow up with a specialist. For what amounted to a total of 10 minutes of her time (to include signing off on orders an RN most likely entered in the system), I was charged over $650.

This doctor is insensitive, rude and gave the impression she had no idea what was going on. Not sure if she just wanted us to leave or what. My one year old daughter had a 105 fever and she suggested putting a catheter in to check for a uti before even checking the basics like throat etc. when I followed up with my GP the next day he was even shocked at the level of care we received. Would NOT suggest this doc
