GYN review
Worst gyn I have ever been to. I left here office feeling like I had been assaulted. And she was absolutely NO help for what I was sent there for.

Scoffed at me during an emergency
Dr. Lee was the on call OB when my pregnant partner had a medical emergency. My partner’s gallbladder was so infected that it was near bursting. We rushed to the nearest ER, and I called Dr. Lee for guidance. She repeatedly cut me off when I asked for help and advice, and kept telling me to go to her ER. But, we were already admitted to another SSM ER, couldn’t get an ambulance, and weren’t sure whether to leave one hospital mid-admittance during an emergency. I relayed this all to Dr. Lee. She scoffed at me and hung up the phone. This all happened more than a year ago, and I still vividly remember the feeling and dread and hopelessness that she increased tenfold. It is sad that someone so callous is expected to care for patients in some of their most sensitive moments.

Awful Experience
I have BRCA2 and had an insurance change so was forced to change providers. I have to have multiple scans and a plan for screenings for cancer. She told me if I need a Pap smear, she can help, but otherwise basically it’s not her problem—never mind the fact that BRCA2 is breast and ovarian cancer disease. My previous gynecologist/OBGYN took care of everything to make sure I had my screenings. This doctor spoke to me like I was stupid, laughing at a genetic mutation that killed my grandmother in her 50s. My husband was mortified by the way she spoke to me (he was present.) I will never go here again. I’d rather pay out of pocket to see someone who cares.

Awful, just go somewhere else.
Lack of bedside manner for starters. She told me that my period wasn't the cause of me throwing up once a month when I started my period. She might as well have yelled at me when I wanted to get my IUD taken out. Said she told me all the side effects and whatnot when she put it in.. she didn't put it in, a different practice did. Either way, don't patronize me when I'm telling you I don't want this in my body anymore.

Awful! Talked down to me. Unkind.
I was sent to Lee for a surgery consult for heavy irregular bleeding w/clots, pain, and PTSD from 2 years of rape. My period leaves me homebound every time. Lee didn't want to do surgery, and only offered 2 options - Depo shot or Nexplanon - even though I told her I've never done well on birth control. She talked me into the nexplanon implant. 2 days later, my depression level shot up and kept going. I tried almost 3 weeks, called the nurse to ask if this was from the implant, was told, "Yes, its a common side effect." So I got in to have it removed the next day. Lee came in already upset with me, was rude and short, and said it was impossible for the implant to cause that in 2 days, and, "You just have depression, thats all there is to it." Also said, "Glad you're seeing a therapist bc you're going to be in crisis when your husband's (wildland firefighter) gone." Then finished and just left. She made me feel so worthless that I almost shot myself later. That was a first.

Would not listen to me as I described my condition and my concerns. She told me that what I had experienced wasn't possible in her opinion.

I do not recommend her at all!! I've been going to her for probably 10 years and have never had problems with her until this visit. I went in for my yearly last month and did lab work the same day too. I ended up needing a prescription from my results of my lab work. She sent one to the pharmacy but it was the wrong one sent, so the pharmacy sent a request for the right one and nothing. I went through the MyChart asking her nurse about her sending the right one back over and after a month dealing with this and this whole time talking to her wonderful nurse Tanya and asking Dr Lee to call me because she told her nurse I needed to come in and get a paper prescription and she wouldn't send a escript or fax. And knowing I work everyday until 5 and can't come into the office the nurse calls me today and told me she's fought for me and the Dr told her she's not calling me at all!! And that I need to make an appointment and pay for another office visit just to pick up a paper prescription.

Dr. Beeson was very dismissive and incorrectly diagnosed my labor pain. She never sat down to discuss my pregnancy and I felt rushed during regular exams. At one point during labor she asked if I "could hold it" in regards to using the restroom. I would not recommend her...at all...ever.

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Lee. She dismissed my chronic health concerns and instead threw multiple courses of the same antibiotic at me, even when it didn't help. She rushed me every time I went in, embarrassed me, and basically told me not to keep coming back -- even though I was in chronic pain. She barely listened to my concerns, only half-heard what I said, and constantly interrupted me. I went to a new OBGYN and he was amazing, listened to me, and found multiple things that were wrong, and I'm being treated. I can't speak to Dr. Lee's pregnancy care, but if you want a gynecologist for a non-pregnancy issue, she's not the one. I've never had less faith in a doctor.

Dr Lee and her staff are amazing. The ladies in the office are friendly and efficient. Nurse Tanya always has a smile on her face and is so friendly. Dr Lee always made me feel very comfortable and had time to answer all of my questions. By far the best OBGYN I’ve been to!

Dr. Lee has been my OB/GYN physician for about ten years. Dr. Lee always comes into the room with a smile, very friendly, ask questions, listens, and addresses any concerns you may have. The office staff is great as well. I would not go anywhere else.
