I have been really impressed with Dr. Bates. The first time I saw him was a few days after my third child was born. He had thrush. Dr. Bates prescribed an anti-fungal and it went away. I was impressed that he successfully treated it without jumping straight to antibiotics as some doctors would. I have seen him a few times since then and have had a good impression every time. He seems to have a balanced approach, he takes time to ask questions and understand the whole situation, he has intelligent insight, and he explains things very well. He's good with the kids too.
