Unprofessional Staff and Laziness
Dr. Sturm herself is just okay. You won’t get an overly compassionate vibe from her and she tends to be short, sharp and dismissive. I take her how she is because I don’t have any pressing health issues but if I did she would NOT be the doctor to see at all. i’m leaving her practice entirely due to her staff as well. They are unprofessional and do not communicate at all whatsoever. They don’t know up from down in that office and they fumble appointments constantly due to lack of communication. It’s impossible to get what you need scheduled here and it’s impossible to reach Dr. Sturm. I don’t have time for this and especially when pressing health issues arise. Go somewhere better with a doctor that communicates and actually acts like she wants to be there.

Dr. Sturm is a very competent person and the staff is very knowledgeable. Whenever I visit the office all the staff are friendly. Dr. Sturm explains the medication she prescribes and recommends me to different specialists that I benefit from to best meet my needs.

unhelpful and stupid, ableist
She told me I'm fat because I wear a mask, because of "the extra co2 I breathe in". I've been fat since I was 10. I'm 27. She said that's why I have GENETIC ARTHRITIS. She's stupid and rude. Uneducated on autism. Don't waste your time especially if chronically ill, overweight or disabled.

Always late for appointments - not just five or 10 minutes. 30 minutes plus every.single.time. At my last appointment, she told me when she entered the exam room that she hadn’t looked at my chart, and then proceeded to make recommendations that made it very obvious she wasn’t listening to anything I said. Refused to consider medication that has been used safely & successfully since the 1950’s because it would “shorten my lifespan.” Said that wearing a mask was the root cause of a health condition that I’d been experiencing because I was overexposed to C02 (that is junk science that’s been studied and debunked). Rude, sharp demeanor. Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t respect your time. Do not recommend. I found a new provider immediately after leaving my last appointment with her.

Unprofessional
During my initial comprehensive exam, I asked Dr. Sturm about medication, she dismissed my question and instead suggested a holistic approach. She handed me some handwritten notes, which were barely legible, about what I should drink in the mornings. I felt rushed and completely looked over. I would not recommend her as a physician. I'd like to add that during the discussion of my previous medications for depression and anxiety, Dr. Sturm made a remark that they were "antipsychotics" and gave a disapproving look to the physician in training and transcribing the visit. I have never felt more disgusted with medical care in my life. I would never recommend and will avoid SSM care moving forward.

Dr. Sturm was my primary doc for 2 years. During that time, she was rude and snarky, didn’t listen to many of my concerns nor did she consult with another one of my specialty doctors before increasing my prescription. Ordered way too many unnecessary tests that were not even due. And she yelled at me for having health issues at a physical, telling me how hard it was to recode for billing purposes.

Dr Strum is my primary care physician, she was very rude and down right insulting at times. I was diagnosed with flu mar 2020, she gave me medicines for 5 days when i didnt feel better after that she didnt want to help me with finding out. She send me to different clinic -they gave me a different medicine that caused an allergic reaction of acid refulx. A year later I am still managing symptoms of acid reflux. I would highly discourage anyone to visit Dr Strum.

Finally!!! A professional and caring doctor who cares enough to really listen to my concerns and truly understands women’s health issues. I am thrilled to have found her! I have been pushed around from specialist to specialist before I switched to Dr. Sturm. Rather than tell me I have “anxiety “, she knew I was suffering with female problems. I have now had the surgery I needed to correct my problem.

If you want to get paid through your job dont go to this dr. Everyone passes the buck. Try and double charge for filling out the paperwork when your job already pays for it. This guy name Arial or whatever he mumbles when he answers the phone is very unprofessional. This office is a joke

I found Dr. Sturm's business card when she had her practice in Parma, Ohio. I was the last patient she had on her last day at this practice. I wanted to let everyone know, including Dr. Sturm, that after 20 years and many doctors, she still comes to mind as being the Best Doctor I have ever had because of her sincerity and care that she has for her patients. I had to look her up and give her a review from 20 yeats ago and after reading her current reviews, nothing has changed.

Dr. Sturm has been great to work with directly. I would give her 5 stars if she ran her own practice and had a more friendly staff. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful while others just seem irritated to have to talk to anyone or answer any questions. The girl who takes you to the exam room and checks your blood pressure doesn't know how to do it properly b/c she always notes it as normal when it is high. They offer terse explanations for lab results indicating problems.

Dr. Sturm literally has saved my life. I was so sick when I went to her, due a bad experience with a previous doctor. She was so thorough, looking at my chart, addressing old and new issues that are life threatening. She ordered tests and found that I was sicker than I thought she was. I love her. She listens.

Dr. Sturm listens to everything you say and answers any and all questions you have without hesitation. She advises you as to what she believes would be the best course of action for you to take, but will not push you to do so. She will not hesitate to refer you to someone else if she feels that she cannot provide you with the best of care for specific issues. I have searched high and low for a primary care physician over the past several years, and I have finally found her.

Dr. Sturm is an excellent doctor. She is attentive, thorough, and easy to talk to However the issues with her office and staff can overshadow her quality of care. The MA's are uninformed and unprofessional, especially on the phone. I once waited 2 months to get the results of a Lupus and RA test. Every time I called they told me she hadnt reviewed the results yet. Turns out they misplaced the results. On the phone the staff carries on personal conversations while you wait to get an appointment.

I have to say she is nice, but when she doesn't have a clue she will get frustrated and say I don't know more what I can do. Her wait time while in the office for her to come in is horrible and she will rush you when she gets in there. This practice staff and her are terrible about referrals. No sense of resourcefulness. She will send you on a wild goose chase of procedures also.
