Not a good experience
My son and I went in for allergy testing. We were told by the office that our insurance will cover the vials for the shots so we went ahead and said we would do it. A week later, and we had not gotten any treatment yet, Dr Amar's office called and said that there was an error when they told us we were covered and we would have to pay the $3000 for the shots, which we hadnt gotten yet. I told the office manager that we would not like to proceed and her response was "TOO LATE" we have already ordered the shots. Now I am in collections with this crazy scenario. I have the money but it is the principle. I have never had this happen in 57 years. I even had offered to split the cost and pay cash but I was told that will not be sufficient. I would never recommend this office for any type of care.

Annoyed
They cut injection hours and have staff working in the injections and office visits. I waited at least 20 minutes to get my injections. Now add another 30 to that.

Doctor was very honest and told me what I need and don't. I feel like she put a lot of work to get to know me and my condition. We need more doctors like Dr Amar. I can tell she is through with all the paperwork. My primary doctor tells me the same.

Office staff does not inform you if the allergy shot nurse is with a patient. Must wait and wait. The Dr. makes you feel ignorant and doesn't believe the symptoms you tell her. Awful customer service. Will not help with insurance issues. The office is usually very loud with music, staff talking, patients and/or their kids. Not relaxing or pleasant.
