I recently switched to this office after feeling I needed a second opinion about a few concerns regarding a switch in my BC. I originally scheduled with a different dr but she left on maternity leave. Dr. Pieczonka did nothing to address my questions and spent my entire appointment pushing me to get an IUD while ignoring my pushbacks and concerns. I messaged her shortly after my appointment to verify information from my mothers medical history (that her past blood clots weren’t genetic), to which she essentially responded in a “too bad, so sad, it’s probably genetic” type of manner, and again pushed me toward an IUD. I discussed a possibility of a uterine ablation, as I have zero desire to have children, nor does my partner, and because my other options for birth control are very limited and was told “no, I’ll regret it” and she tried telling me I was wrong about not wanting children. I’ll be looking for a THIRD gynecologist thanks to an awful first impression

Dr. Pieczonka is a true professional. And she is concerned about my overall wellbeing. She always inquires about the latest vision, dental, and general practitioner visits. I can't say enough about her timeliness for appointments and her general overall demeanor. She's the BEST in my humble opinion.

Very uncaring and seems to focus on scare tactics and dodges providing helpful information claiming she will need to see you in the office and still doesnt provide helpful information. Demands forms of treatment and testing using the same methods. Does not respect her patients as human beings! After a year of being continually upset and in a power struggle over simply wanting information on my condition and never getting it, I switched doctors!

I would recommend Dr. Pieczonka because she encouraged me to pursue additional testing that found I had early stage breast cancer. Prior to this, I had seen other doctor(s) that told me my symptoms and findings were normal. If Dr. Pieczonka (and my primary doctor) hadn't guided me in the right direction- the breast cancer may have progressed. Her approach and professional intuition were excellent.

The facility itself is fine with nice secretaries. Absolutely the worst Dr. I have ever had. Very condescending, very uncaring, misdiagnosed a condition I had only was known because my previous reports from my medical records came in, treated my issue like it was nothing, my new Dr. was amazing compared to her. Absolutely thumbs down, talked to a couple of women who also had her and they had the same experience of belittling rudeness, send your enemies here and run to someone else.
