Very unprofessional
I saw this doctor while pregnant and when ever I would ask a general question I felt like she was talking down to me where I had to defend myself and say “well this is my first pregnancy I didn’t know.” Not only that she literally yelled and cursed and then said I’m sorry for yelling at you but what you asked is one of my biggest pet peeves. I’ve never gone into a doctors and gotten yelled at for asking if it was okay to take a medication or not while pregnant. Nor have I ever felt belittled for asking a question out of concern for my baby. The office itself is great but this doctor is completely out of line with how she speaks to patients and I find it highly unprofessional. Will not be seeing her again!

Dr. Dunson-Allen has been my doctor for 16 years now, and I have always received the best of care. Past surgery couldn't have gone better. She really takes the time to listen and address your concerns, and the staff is excellent. Always a good experience. Thank you Dr. Dunson-Allen!

I saw Dunson-Allen for an ongoing issue back in 2014. The only 5 appointments I ever had with her were a 45 minute to 1+ hour wait to be seen. The issues returned so I tried to see her again 03/28/18. After sitting in an exam room for 1 hour and 5 minutes, I left and I will NOT return! Dr. Dunson-Allen has NO RESPECT for me or my time. Her apparent greed and overbooking patients seems to be a part of her practice.

She messed up my sons circumcision. He was born perfect and she left him with a jagged and crooked scar, much more skin left on one side. I can't properly describe how bad of a job she did .I will never forgive myself for letting her hurt my son. The pediatrition I took him to today agreed that she did a poor job. The way she cut him left him so crooked , he does not even pee straight. I will go to a urologist to see what I can do if anything about it. I am devastated over this.

Dr. Dunson-Allen is awesome! She delivered three out of four of my children. On my last baby, she came by to check on me on her way to an event. She listens closely, and informs me of my options in detail. I have had great interactions with every member of her staff. I would highly recommend her practice.

I would definitely not recommend this practice. In all fairness my experience at my first new patient appointment was good, staff was friendly, Dr. Dunson-Allen was really nice and attenative. The major problem is that her nursing staff does NOT return phone calls I experienced this TWICE within 3wks so I would say this is normal unprofessional behavior for this practice. The office manager called to apologize in lieu of the Doctor calling to do so & address my medical concerns. Not acceptable.

Dr. Dunson-Allen is a great OBGYN that listens to her patient's concerns and address them with care. I am so happy to have an OBGYN with the knowledge and skills that she has. I was having major issues with fibroids and Dr. Dunson-Allen literally saved my life.

I felt as if I was in very capable hands in her office. She explained my condition fully so that I could make informed decisions. You need comfort and competence from a doctor and she gives you both.

I had Dr. Dunson-Allen as a fill in for my regular OB during a scary visit to the ER for excruciating stomach pain while 4 months pregnant. She never came in to diagnose me in person despite being the only doctor on call for the practice, and instead told the ER doc to prescribe me pain meds that are known to cause harmful side effects for the fetus. When she did finally come in the following morning, she was rude and condescending about my leave of discomfort. Despicable!
