I’ve been a patient of Dr. Algendy for 8 years. My mother was a patient till she passed. Dr.Algendy and his staff are compassionate and genuine about the care and courtesy they give their patients. My mom had degenerative disc disease. Dr. Algendy’s experience in the management of her condition gave her a life back. I have had 4 back operations. I was not able to commute to the Boston Dr that did the surgeries. I highly recommend this Doctor. I have been visiting there for the last 7 years. From the staff being polite and caring to Dr Algendy being very informative and gentle while injecting my neck and freezing the nerve which gives me full function and no pain.

Doctor Sherif Al Gendy is by far the most compassionate doctor I have been to. His staff goes above and beyond and are the kindest women. They are very flexible when it comes to rescheduling your appointment. They also explain everything you need to know about any medications you take. I have never met a doctor who knew so much about what medications cause certain side effects, that were never explained to me before! I cannot say enough good things about dr. Al Gendy and I travel to see him. I will never change him for my doctor. He has also called surgeons on my behalf to discuss my difficult medical issues. Not every doctor will go out of their way, on a weekend, to personally call another doctor to explain one patient's situation and he did that.

NOT GOOD !!!!!!! Waited close to 1 hr for my appointment & when I told Dr i was upset HE brushed it off with NO apology .Rub me the wrong way I think Dr Algendy needs to work on his bed side manners & care more about patients time & not just his .Would NEVER recommend this Dr to anyone. Only good experience was dealing with Dr's staff very nice & professional.It says on Dr's website " average wait time 10 to 15 mins NOT TRUE !!!!!

I liked Dr Algendy right from the start. He sits with you and talks with you about your symptoms and pain. Where I suffer from depression as well, I find the only way to cope with all my problems is humor. He understood this. He also informed me that there are different types of treatments. I appreciate Dr. Algendy. He explains everything. Although, I wonder if I need more than management. He is the ONLY Dr. I would go to for management. He even asked for a chance to have a faith in him. I DO

Came here with a neck problem and now that I have lost my insurance I still have the same neck problem with a methadone problem on top of that. I find it strange that I was being treated with motrin and less than 1 percocet a day until I saw this Dr who put me on a 25mcg fentanyl patch the very first visit. All this did was turn one problem into two problems and I was thrown to the side of the street without any help once I lost my health insurance. Not because I didn't still need help.

My immediate family is on disability due to a bad spine . (mother, 2 brothers & uncle). I've been fighting it anyway I can. My daughter is on disability and only 27. Anyway, I convinced my daughter to go see him and she agreed. I don't want to worry about her because when I'm gone, I don't know what will become of her so I'm hoping he can help her get up and out, back into college then find a good job so I can RIP when my final chapter is up. I trust him completely.

I think Dr. Algendy is a very good doctor. I have been seeing him for many years. (for neuropathy and MS pain). I also broke both my ankles at the same time over 10 years ago. He has helped me find the right pain med to treat the pain I live with. I find him to be very patient and helpful. I see him once a month to follow up.

I have been seeing Dr Algendy since early 2000. In dealing with chronic pain you need someone that understands chronic pain and can empathize with the patient. In the years I have been working with Dr Algendy he has shown me he truly has the patient BEST INTEREST AT HEART. He has given me the best quality of life possible. He doesn't just hand out drugs he works with you to find the best treatment. He got me through a very tough time in my life without turn me into an opioid addict.

If you're looking for pain injections, this is the guy...unless you're on blood thinners, then he has no treatment recommendations for you other than gabapentin or cymbalta. Neither worked for me. He flat out refused to discuss steroid injections, where as my former pain docs did so carefully, with input from my cardiologist. In addition, the wait on average has been 45-60 minutes.
