Patronizing and does not look at information
He did not thoroughly look over my history, and had difficulty retaining critical facts. After many visits, he had completely forgotten why I originally came to see him. He is so busy correcting terminology (watch out women, I think there is some sexism happening here). He rocked nervously in his chair, and was extremely short tempered and defensive any time I posed a question to him. I just cannot do it. I felt absolutely no compassion from him, and certainly no respect after multiple attempts. We're done.

Great Board Certified Endocrinologist--
Dr. Yacoub deserves 6 stars (or more)! Board Certified in Endocrinology, he is very knowledgeable about the confusing thyroid gland and will patiently explain (without being condescending). He also recommended a substantially less expensive way for me to obtain my thyroid medication. Now, I am dealing with another related issue and he is supportive and has explained the situation thoroughly giving me options. Dr. Yacoub always makes certain that the patient's questions are answered. His staff is friendly and timely in their responses. No long wait time for appointments and, telehealth services are available. He embodies all the characteristics of a great doctor who enjoys practicing his specialty.

Dr. Yacoub is fabulous. He is not intimidated by any research you have done regarding your condition or questions about new medications that are being prescribed. He listens. He doesn't rush you and, as someone previously commented, he knows why you are there before he comes into the room. You won't find a better endocrinologist.

Dr. Yacoub is excellent at type 1 diabetes management. Encourages me to try new methods of continuous glucose sensing, when I was ready to give up and rely only on finger sticks. Always listens and tries to assist when I have problems. Refills are given promptly and requests for insulin pump supplies are submitted in a timely manner.

Schedules three patients per time slot. Explains nothing. Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t care. In a hurry. Take this medicine, no need to come back for six months. I feel terrible, on same medication I had been on. I’m exhausted, no energy. Such a disappointment. Don’t waste your time.
