Dr. Shih-Han Chow, MD

Arrogant pompous individual. I wouldn’t recommend him to a rat.

Went to Dr. Chow extremely uncomfortable and anxious about a potentially serious issue. What I was greeted with was a man full of swagger, gold chain dangling out of a tuft of chest hair that could’ve been hidden if he bothered to button his shirt.Spent about 5 minutes with me before sending me off, with a script for ultrasound. I received zero compassion or recommendations for relief. I will not be back. I went straight to Cooper ER and received far better care. Should’ve read the reviews.

After a prostate biopsy by Dr. Chow and receipt of a subsequent terrifying biopsy report indicating aggressive cancer, Dr. Chow would not speak to my husband for two weeks which was the next available office appointment. At this meeting, Dr. Chow acted as though this was routine and gave us no information other than an order for a PET scan. Again, follow up took about two weeks at which point Dr. Chow announced that surgery was needed and no further details were offered. When we expressed anxiety about how much time had elapsed and tried to ask questions, Dr. Chow was clearly annoyed and was quite rude and nasty. As it turns out, we found several kind and compassionate doctors elsewhere, all of whom advised against surgery. My husband is now undergoing appropriate treatment at Penn by doctors who treat us with respect.

Couldn’t get a refill on my medication that is much needed on a daily basis even though it said I had 3 available. 3 messages to My Chart over the span of a couple months were ignored. Took 6 calls from my wife and/or I to get someone to finally do something about it. The first they had no record of. The second, they told me I hadn’t been seen in two years and thats why it was denied (which was incorrect, was only a little over a year because of their delay in responding), couldn’t send blood work scripts to the right place when I was told they had. Had to reschedule an appointment twice already because I can’t get the blood work. Office can’t do anything right and doesn’t care about their patient’s health. Only got 1 star because zero isn’t allowed They better hope to God nothing shows up on my blood work when I finally get it or the next person they hear from will be my lawyer.

Most arrogant, pompous a** I’ve ever met. Being a Doctor in a position to help people and portray a sense of compassion and confidence,he did NONE of that to me. I left after meeting with him and went straight to PENN where the doctors there where 100% total opposite of Chow. What a great decision I made and recommended that anyone going to Chow to STRONGLY reconsider and go elsewhere. Just look at the other reviews.What a terrible Doctor(I use that word very lightly)

I can't speak to how Dr. Chow is in the exam room because I never made it that far with my appointment. I checked-in online prior to my appointment, paid my co-pay, and showed up on time. I waited in line to let the staff know that I was here for my appointment. After doing so, I sat down and waited about 20 minutes or so. I get called back to the front desk to be told Dr. Chow is no longer here and has left for the day. I was told it was not for an emergency and he had another appointment to go to. I was told there was no other doctor available to meet with me and I would have to reschedule. If I was on time and he needed to leave for another appointment, then I was never going to be seen to begin with or probably would have gotten 30 seconds of his time, if that. Incredibly disrespectful of my time to be scheduled for this appointment, show up on time, check-in and pay, wait, and then be told 'Sorry the doctor left.' I could understand if it was an emergency but it was not.

Am not sure my surgery will solve my problem; I am not sure we are on the same page

Dr. Chow was fantastic, I would recommend him for you vasectomy!

My son has been trying to speak with someone in regards to aftercare, as the original problem still persists. No one offered a follow-up appointment. Today is Monday, he has been told, since last Wednesday, that someone would be calling him in a refill of an antibiotic and would be calling him back. He calls at least twice a day, no call back - no prescription refill. Probably the worst care we have ever received from any doctor's office. Sub-par, at best.

Dr. Shih han Chow, is a horrible doctor. Very arrogant and dismissive spent less than five minutes with me. Never addressed my problems but still had the balls to charge 400 bucks plus to medicare. I will never go back again and the cashier at wal-mart had more compassion for me!!

Dr. Chow has been straight up with me. Dr. Chow is very thorough doctor I trust his opinion. He takes time to listen.

Was scheduled for appointment thru Virtua's Robert Davis, DO, on 2/15/2016. Chow was so pompous and arrogant when he refused my appointment because I didn't have proof of insurance. Rather than bill me, he refused me services.

Pompous and arrogant. As a medical professional myself, I cleared my whole weekend schedule for a procedure that Chow cancelled because I was 8 mins late due to heavy traffic on a Friday afternoon. My wife, also a professional, lost an afternoon out of her office. And then they wanted to reschedule!Reschedule! I'll reschedule with a doctor who deserves my business. Not a pompous a**
