Dr. Shireen Ghorbani, MD

As an established patient, I messaged Dr. Ghorbani about some disturbingly high test results my primary doctor discovered during a routine visit. Under the primary’s advice and “referral to a specialist,” I contacted Dr. Ghorbani because I had previously seen her for a routine colonoscopy and therefore was an “established patient.” Per their front desk instructions, I messaged the doctor to ask for an earlier appointment than the first available consultation appt four months away. It didn’t seem like a good idea for me to wait that long since one of my liver tests came back 5 times higher than the upper limit. The bottom of the messages said to “wait up to 48 hours for a response.” I heard nothing for 8 days. Finally got a call back from the assistant on day 8 who said the doctor would like me to go in to see her PA. No response to my concerns, no advice, and no desire to see me as a patient. My response was, “No thanks. I found someone else already.”
