Dr Khandelwal is fantastic. He takes time to first connect as almost a buddy, then as my doctor. He explains clearly & also talks with my neice who helps with my medical care. If she can't be present he talks to her over the phone while I'm at my appt.

BEST DOCTOR YOU COULD EVER HOPE FOR!
If you are diagnosed with breast (or I suppose any type) cancer, you’ve probably already seen more doctors than most people see in a lifetime. After a while, it tends to blur from one doctor to the next and you begin to feel like “just another fish in the sea”. But, NOT with Dr Khandelwal! From the minute he walked in the door I knew he was different. He was soft spoken, calm and made you feel like you were the most important patient he had ever treated. He explained everything slowly, concisely and completely. He explained everything that was going to happen and what each step would feel like. He frequently asked if I had any questions rather than waiting until the end. This allowed me to think about things that he had just said rather than trying to remember everything and knowing full well that I would forget something. He was very kind, very thorough and portrayed a doctor who truly cared about his patients. If you need a radiation oncologist, Dr Khandelwal is the best!
