Meeting with Dr. Sharma was humiliating. She had not reviewed my medical history and treated me like a drug seeking criminal when I met with her after my prior PCP's retirement to establish care and maintain my existing medication protocol that has allowed me to manage tasks of independent living as a cancer survivor with mobility impairments and complete multiple post-graduate degrees to the point of now working on a PhD. Dr. Sharma was "uncomfortable" with my multiple year, no issues, no early refills, no lost scripts medication protocol. I thanked her for her time and planned to re-establish care with another PCP. As I was leaving, she gave me an ultimatum of one refill contingent upon taking a urinalysis drug test that is not covered by my insurer. I stated that I understood her position, was not seeking refills, and again stated my intent to establish care with another PCP. In retaliation, her short note in my chart indicated only my refusal of the non-covered lab work.

Beside Manner is "Poor". Doesn't seem to listen to your complaints. Appears to go in one ear and out the other. Unfortunately, my PCP retired and was forced to find a new one. In my opinion "Does Not" fit the profile of a good physician. I will be switching providers during my next open enrollment period.

Dr. Sharma is the worst pcp I have ever had. Unfortunately my old PCP left the practice and I was forced to switch pcp. Unlucky for me to have chosen Dr. Sharma as my pcp. To start she blamed be for my asthma, a chronic condition I have had since i was 5 yrs old as "my fault." Everything I told her about my medical conditions went in one ear and straight out the other. Was very defensive, dismissive and offended at any suggestions I made. Stay away from this PCP for your health's sake!
