Dr. Shoba Cherian, MD

Her partner was my PC and she was never there when needed so I often used Dr Cherian. Then the partner had receptionist call me to say I’m not allowed to use Dr Cherian. There was some very controlling stuff going on in that office from the partner and one of the receptionists. That receptionist also told me when I asked for a referral that “you don’t get a referral unless the doctor says so”. (Turned out my insurance allows me to go to whatever doctors I want, so this was an act of control) After that I left the practice but will now go back to Dr Cherian since I heard the other one walked out.

MD Cherian is a Partner of my Families PCP. She was the MD on Call for both Doctor's. She refused to review my Mother's Chart who was admitted to the Hospital. She REFUSED to Help because my Mother wasn't her specific Client even though she had access to the Office Records and the Hospital. Her Personality matched her Service- Extremely Terrible. Would not recommend her for Anything!Worst MD I have ever had to deal with in 58 yeadl

We have been Doctor Cherian’s patients for many years. We’re happy with the office and response time. Since she moved to Nanuet, the phone system is inadequate, staff never answers the phone, the phone gets disconnected more often than being answered and calls fail many times. Due to the move of the patient portal, we can not leave messages to the doctor. Very frustrating when one is sick and needs immediate care. We had to go be up in Walk-in clinic to to poor return call. Also dying lunch break, the phone system should allow to receive phone message, instead of dead silence and then disconnect. Please help so we can remain your patient Dr.Cherian.

Dr. Cherian is very thorough, and personally follows up on all test results to talk through them with me. Highly recommended!

Dr. Cherian is a very compassionate doctor. She takes time to listen to all your concerns and is polite, pleasant, and empathetic! She is my favorite doctor ever!!!
