Dr. Shoban Dave, MD

Dr. Dave was very efficient and helpful in the treatment of both of my children. He was also very kind and gentle with the kiddos. He gave us some great options for how to handle their allergies moving forward. I had some billing issues with our Pediatrician sending an incorrect referral and thankfully, Flatirons (Tina, Sadie and Dr. Dave) resolved the issue, even though it wasn't their fault. I really appreciate their efforts and candor through the whole experience. Very professional!

Dr. Dave refused to refill existing prescriptions without a breathing test even though I was tested 2 months prior. Did not agree with his approach or office staff constantly trying to get you in.

I think he is a knowledable doctor and his staff is nice. But I think that his prices are too high. I've never paid as much for allergy shots. Be sure to read the fine print of his contract, as you won't be told everything. You may end up signing up for something expensive that you didn't mean to agree to.

Dr Dave and everyone at Flatirons have been great. My sometimes-severe lifelong allergy to cats was completely fixed after 5 months of treatment, still great at 18 months. Always professional & friendly, they have my full appreciation and gratitude. My daughter gets to keep her cat:)

Honestly, I cannot say enough great things about Flatirons Allergy & Asthma. I started struggling with respiratory concerns about 18 months ago, after no answers or results with another doctor / different organization, I choose to make the transition to Dr. Shoban with Flatirons Allergy & Asthma. Within my first 2 visits, he was determined to help me make changes and get answers. He took the time to explain everything to me, made lists with potential treatment options and allowed me time to research how you would like to move forward. I am not magical cured, but Dr. Shoban has helped me to get the answers and seek treatment options all of my other doctors didn’t seem interested in trying to figure out. I am so thankful for all of their help!

Beyond the high quality of care Dr Dave gives an excellent patient experience. He asks good questions, listens well and gives clear explanations. I never feel rushed and always feel that I have had my questions answered. He has also built a strong team that make you feel welcome and well cared for and cared about.

He is knowledgeable, understanding, and very supportive of his patients.

My son has been a patient of Dr Davé’s for about 5 years. During which time he’s been getting allergy shots regularly. We got off to a rocky start with the shots due to a reaction, but now it runs smoothly. Having the reactions delayed our progress but I appreciate the conservative approach to ensure my son’s safety. I have been very impressed with the care we receive. Dr Davé listens to us and considers all of our concerns and works with us to find a workable solution. The shots and the treatment approach have been successful so we are pleased with that. Additionally, We love all the staff, the nurses, the MAs and the office staff at both offices. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of allergy or asthma care.

I adore Dr. Davé, he is detailed, kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. I’ve had a lot of allergy/asthma doctors over the years and I can tell which ones care and which ones are there to get in and out. He has an extensive knowledge of Allergy/Asthma and treatments and is willing to research and look for what is best suited to your ailments. I drive 30 minutes to see Dr. Davè and it’s worth every minute in the car. I highly recommend Flatirons Allergy and Asthma to anyone looking for an allergy or asthma doctor.

Great. Dr. Dave gives me a lot of care and attention. I tested about 75% positive to all of the allergens. I really suffer from allergies to say the least. He takes the time to listen and adjust my immunization regime as needed. His staff are nice people as well.

Amazing bed side manner. IT injection schedule pretty wide and easy to meet in both Longmont and Louisville.

Dr. Dave is an excellent physician. He listens, educates and really looks out for the best interests of my family.

Had no interest in helping for food allergies. Only wanted to do the scratch test for everything, I just wanted to know what foods were causing my son to have eczema. He said that if I wasn't willing to followup with the immunotherapy, it was a waste of time. His website says you can test for dairy with a breath test and they didn't want to do that either. I was also charged for an asthma test that I literally watched the nurse quite trying cause she said kids his age just can't do it.

Dr Dave seems knowledgeable but this is definitely an office that tries to make as much money off of a patient as possible, regardless if the recommendation is the best health-wise or financial-wise for the patient. The staff other than the Dr are rude & interrupt. When I explained that I wasn't totally clear on what my treatment was going to be because I had been hearing different things from different people in their office, the woman on the phone said No, you haven't instead of clarifying.

Came in to visit Dr. Dave with breathing problems/chest tightness. He did a test and found that I had airway obstruction, but didn't think it was asthma. He said he would get to the bottom of it. The next visit he showed very little concern about finding out the cause of the problem and rushed me through the appointment. He didn't take the time to listen or even think the issue. Would not recommend Dr. Dave!
