Dr. Shruti Sevak, MD

I was admitted to munson with a tumor in my colon. She not only perfectly excuted the surgery but also has wonderful bedside manners and very consistent follow up. She is very easy to talk to and is very reassuring about every aspect. If she ever becomes a primary physician I would be the first in line to be her patient. I cannot say enough good things about her services. To bad there isn't 6 stars to rate her

Dr Sevakis a fantastic individual as well as wonderful DR.

We hardly know where to begin in praising Dr. Shruti Sevak. Today we had our (hopefully) final check-up after a years-long journey with Dr. Sevak. As emotional as the appointment was, bringing an end to my husband’s ordeal, equally tearful was the thought of not seeing her again. My husband’s prognosis was bleak and the future looked dim. We were referred to Dr. Sevak, who stepped in and changed our lives. My husband had urinary surgery, prostate surgery, radiation, hormone therapy, complicated by an enormous fistula. While in the hospital, we overheard a doctor comment “he’ll probably be on a bag for the rest of his life.” He was referred to Dr. Sevak, who quickly assured us she could come up with a Plan A, and if necessary, a Plan B. It was a tough year, but she was with us every step of the way. Today my husband is cured, and in excellent health. She is a brilliant surgeon and has an incredible bedside manner. Only sad ending is that we'll miss having her in our lives!

I saw doctor Sevak on two occasions. I was very please that Dr Sevak took all the time necessary to listen and fully understand my medical needs. She offered options for me to consider and fully explained all aspects. She is very personable and truly cares about her patients. I will not hesitate to call on her again if the need arises.

I went to see Dr. Sevak for a problem with fecal incontinence. She immediately made me feel comfortable about my problem and came up with a good solution to resolve the problem. I would highly recommend her to be anyone's physician. I am so grateful that I was referred to her.

Dr. Sevak is the Best and has the best bedside manner ever. She truly cares about you. My 70 year old husband had rectal cancer and I had a bowel obstruction. She has helped us get through this and made us feel like things would be okay. She’s an expert in her field! She’s an unbelievable caring, genuine, down to earth person. She explains everything very well and does a good job drawing pictures and showing you what’s going on! She’s as sweet as can be, her staff is Great too! We highly recommend this Doctor! Thank you for all you’ve done for my husband and myself!

I came into Munson’s ER in terrible pain and very ill. Dr Sevak was the surgeon there and thank goodness! She saved my life. She is a very competent, compassionate and caring doctor.

Dr. Shruti Sevak was my doctor for a very rare and complicated procedure. She is an excellent surgeon. She is very professional, highly efficient, and dedicated to her profession. Having said that, I'd like to add that she is very kind and sweet, with a remarkable bedside manner and a down-to-earth personality, which helps greatly throughout the entire process. She is truly a beautiful person, inside and out, and I am so fortunate that she was referred to me by a team of doctors at Munson Hospital. Also, her assistant "Cinnamon" is truly a delight. I never would have made it through my recovery without her daily visits and updates. (Thank you Cinnamon.) A very grateful and satisfied patient

Dr Sevec is one of the best surgeons I have seen in my 74 years. When in the hospital she saw me every day. She was very compassionate and understanding of my emotional issues adjusting to my ileostomy. Post-op she and her staff are wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend Dr. Sevec to friends and family.

I am a 53 yr old Male. I have seen many Doctors throughout my life. Having embarrassing issues my wife scheduled an appointment with her. THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN. My only disappointment is that she isn't my primary doctor. Great and awesome bedside manner and very professional. She took time out of her day to call me to see how my issues were doing. She is outstanding!
