Dr. Shweta Verma, MD

Dr. Verma is so caring and always listens closely to my concerns and symptoms. She seems very knowledgeable and also patient oriented. I totally trust her as my psychiatrist and highly recommend this doctor for anyone with psychiatric concerns or illnesses.

Extremely dismissive, rude, impatient, and made me cry. She made me feel like I was a major inconvenience in her day. Then she dismissed all of my concerns and gaslit me. The last thing you want in any provider, especially a psychiatrist who you are trying to be vulnerable with. When I was finally able to go to someone else and get legitimate thorough testing done regarding my concerns they were validated and I did receive the diagnosis I suspected that I had. I don’t know how she made it through medical school when her bedside manner is less than subpar and she dismissed my concerns stating I didn’t have a specific condition when later legitimate reliable testing suggested the exact opposite.

She has a rea;;y really really bad attitude.

Completely unprofessional. At the beginning of the video visit, Dr. Verma seemed bored and disinterested, but I went ahead and described my problem. Then the video froze, so I tried to chat instead. For three minutes she ignored me, until I finally said "What the hell" out of frustration. THEN she calls me, but only to tell me she is refusing to help me because she felt this reaction was "inappropriate". On the contrary, after multiple attempts over weeks to even get an appoinment in the first place, then being frozen out, then ignored, saying "What the hell" is a perfectly appropriate and understandable reaction. For a psychiatrist to not get this, and then to REFUSE to help a patient who is asking for help, is totally callous and unprofessional. Worst psychiatrist EVER!!!

Had the most horrific visit with this „doctor“. She has no social abilities and will yell at you for taking a test she had ordered. She asked me are you worried and I said yes of course because I live here without my family and she put me down for depression meds which made me feel nauseous and generally sick. Changed doc right away and was helped and treated like a human being.

Doesn’t give a chance to talk and if she does just an aggressive, rude way about her.
