My Life Will Never Be The Same
Telehealth
I was fortunate enough to receive care from Dr. K thru telehealth for weight loss. I was morbidly obese just a few months ago, but I have lost 37 pounds with his help. I was not optimistic about seeing results with weight loss treatment online, but my experience with Dr. K gave me a new view on how effective it can be when done with safety and compassion. In my experience, building trust with your doctor takes time, but I was surprised how easy it was to 'talk' with Dr. K as if I had known him for years. Instead of just prescribing treatment, he was thorough in inquiring about details of my medical history to see if treatment was safe for me. He also did something no doctor has done before - he actually listened to me when coming up with my care plan. It takes a certain level of empathy to practice obesity medicine, and I could not have asked for a more patient and caring doctor to partner with. I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone. Thanks Dr. K for giving me a new lease on life!

A Doc Actually Put Me First For Once
Telehealth
I met Dr. Kasundra via a telemed visit. I had sinus issues that I always got a Zpac and steroids for from my doc. I was surprised he actually took time to clarify my symptoms, their severity, and their duration, instead of just relying on my autobot answers. BUT, I was upset that he did not give me the prescriptions that I felt I had paid for (like a previous reviewer, I was angry, and if I had written a review after the visit, I would have given the same negative feedback). Looking back, I think he actually provided me with MORE care than I realized. He took 40 minutes to explain that sinus infections were usually viral (and how antibiotics did more harm than good), recommended some treatments that actually helped tremendously, and told me to come back for a re-eval if no improvement. My NP friend later told me his care was on point, and I got better in days. I think we patients (including me!) should listen to our docs more instead of assuming we know what treatment is best for us.

Misdiagnosed - stubborn - egotistical.
Doc Kasundra was given my symptoms for acute bacterial sinusitis - same exact symptoms I’ve given many times to many other physicians in the past. He decided that it wasn’t bacterial. And offered me remedies that I had already been using for the past 4 weeks with no relief. I challenged his decision with previous diagnosis and he became short and then quit the chat. I had another opinion moments later and that physician told me he looked through the chat and his reaction was “what is this guy thinking” I’m not stuck for 72 hours without treatment. Thanks Dr. Kasundra :)

Horrible! Unprofessional & Lacks Compassion
This man should not be allowed to practice medicine. I encountered him as a Sydney Health online chat portal. As a woman in my second trimester, this man dismissed my concerns and did not even attempt to provide care of any kind. He literally disconnected the call without my consent because he was annoyed that I could not get the photo feature to work properly. This was before actually getting any information about what was going on. He was clearly upset that he had to provide service via an online portal. I am assuming it was a work assignment that he took on begrudgingly. HOWEVER, you cannot call yourself a physician and behave towards patients like a disgruntled adolescent fast food employee angrily working the counter at a burger joint. This is your job. Patients deserve to be treated with respect whether they are in person or seeking services online. This man should be ashamed of himself. More importantly, he needs serious training before further patient interaction.

Disregards patient experiences/ makes assumptions
I have had multiple online visits with this practitioner. He has prescribed medication for me typically for a mental health related purpose. He is not my usual provider but is licensed in my state. This doctor doesn't listen to your experiences when you describe your issues and wants to pinpoint a quick fix. After asking me my weight and looking at a photo of a rash I had this spectacular Dr. told me I had either cellulitis (if you don't know what that is, it is typically a skin condition that can be a result of uncleanliness/obesity) and shingles. In order to have shingles you have to have had chicken pox as a child. I am a full-grown adult and haven't ever had it. I tried to explain this to the doctor only to be disregarded and told it was either cellulitis or shingles when I'd explained repeatedly that I'd recently switched detergents and had extremely sensitive skin my entire life. Aside from this instance, Dr. Kasundra has disregarded what I've had to say multiple times.

Life Saver
Hands down the best doctor that I have ever come across. Took phenomenal care of me during the sickest and most stressful time of my life. Literally brought me back to life after my heart stopped in the hospital. He was professional in both presentation and demeanor, yet down-to-earth and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Most importantly, he gave me choices, instead of dictating my care. He is exactly what every doctor should be, a partner in your health care journey.

If you get this dr, RUN
I have a massive respect for doctors for what they do. I work closely and hand in hand with them all the time. I cannot describe how much respect I lost for this dr. I discussed with him my medial issue, which he recommended medications that had nothing to do with my health concerns. Another provider provided me a correct diagnoses and treatment plan.

Worst doctor I’ve ever had to deal with in a hospital. Extremely condescending & unprofessional. He should hang up his stethoscope or learn to treat people with respect.
