I had my right hip done 2 1/2 years ago and it went great! This fall I needed to have my left hip done. Dr. Schulman did an excellent job. My recovery is going well with this hip, also.

My son broke both bones in his arm, Dr. Schulman performed his surgery repair. I have to say that I have never felt such warmth and compassion. He explained everything thoroughly and provided all options clearly. His follow up appointments are just as thorough and we have fun in the office. He took care of my son (and calmed me) when I was not able and for that I am grateful.

I had a total knee replacement due to Osteoarthritis by this surgeon last September. I've struggled with flexion throughout recovery. I wasn't getting satisfaction with Dr. Schulman so I went to see another surgeon for a second opinion. Recently (I'm now 8 months post op) I had a CT SCAN with mars (used when there's metal in the body) and the results were possible popliteal tendon impingement due to a piece of cement sticking out of the component. Only future option is a revision.

This is an orthopedic surgeon you need to avoid at all costs. He turned my hip surgery into a disastrous life changing event that left me a cripple. He had no remorse and simply told me good luck

From my 14 YO son's broken arm to my two knee replacements (which were 7 years apart), Dr. Schulman was as perfect as could be. He made sure I knew every aspect of what was happening, gave me best and worst case scenarios of my son's injury & recovery, & he saw me through the life-altering knee replacements. Dr. Schulman gave me my life back and because of that, I recommend him to anyone I speak to who needs a joint replacement.
