RATING: ZERO!
One of the worst experiences I have had with a doctor. Filing a complaint with St. Vincents and the 'neurology specialists.' Dr. Jenssen was with me about 6 minutes and basically walked out of the appointment after a few minutes. No type of exam was done, no helpful information. I left in tears. The nurse there, Joseph, was kind and helpful and walked me out. I questioned if this was racism. I have no idea why I was treated the way I was treated. Appalling!

Worst experience
Dr. Jenssen doesn’t listen, he only evaluated me through one test. He disputed my diagnosis of epilepsy that two other neurologists had given me, as well as two EEG’s which previously came out abnormal. He advised me that I could stop taking my medication immediately without tapering off. I understand this can cause more seizures, especially after taking for 10 years, He diagnosed me with confusion after all my neurological testing came out normal. I have never been to such a dismissive and arrogant doctor before. He has absolutely no caring manner, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

No doubt his general manner
Waited long in exam room … when he did come in he spoke at me … didn’t care to listen to my questions … my questions seemed to annoy and aggravate him … he spoke fast quickly summarized information from my file … then told me I’d be fine … he was with me more or less all of 5 minutes … he acted like he took no interest in me as a human being, lest a patient

Need a Zero Star option. He failed at the fundamentals of medicine: "Always treat the patient, not the test results". I did my own research after the worst medical appt. in my long life and found the treatment for two mTBI's sustained in 4 months. He told me I was fine and he didn't know why I had symptoms because my test results were fine, and it didn't have anything to do with the mTBI's. I had no symptoms before two hits to my head including dizziness, headaches, light and noise sensitivity. He begrudgingly did a quick exam after I became visibly upset with him during the appt. Since Presby. has not done the right thing (after 1 year of grievances and appeals) and I had to pay the large bill I'm posting this, hoping it will help someone else avoid this MD if you have a concussion. Suggest look into HBOT treatment (#1 treatment for concussions), have your ears checked for misplaced crystals, have your eye tracking checked. Know that tiredness effects eye results.
