Dr. Silvio Podda, MD

On September 2024 I went for a medically necessary breast reduction and it has been the worst experience in my life. Silvio Podda should not be operating on anyone! He did not put the drains in correctly and my breast died and became necrotic. Sent me home after surgery with no antibiotics. He did nothing to help me and continued giving me appointments with no resolution. After reading these reviews, noticed I was not the only person he did this to! I left to search for help St. Joseph’s Hospital did nothing to help me. I needed to find another surgeon in another location receiving weekly debridement for months from another surgeon. It is 6 months later and I still have pain, opened wounds and oozing from the incision. I found out he scams the health insurance charging 6 times what the surgery is worth. He ruined my life! The people that work with him are just as compromised as he because they know what is happening and don’t report the issue!!

He is not a caring doctor his staff are rude every thing is a rush he did a surgery on me I’m still not healed after 4 months cuts are so visible when visiting his office he avoids you sends other people in the room and continue to give appointments with no resolution to my surgery I wish I would have read his reviews before going to him please do not go to this Dr please I wish I never did this I feel stuck depressed and very disappointed and worried about my health please again DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO HIM AND PUT YOUR LIFE IN HUS HANDS

I had surgery with Dr. Podda to remove excess skin after losing 130 pounds. He also fixed a wound I had in my lower abdomen. He's very smart, has great bedside manners, and explains everything in great detail. I high recommend him.

WORST DOCTOR EVER! My surgery results are horrible, he did a horrible job. I had a breast reduction (i had nice breast, but a little too big for my size) with him and it was the worst mistake ever. Now I’m going to get another surgery to fix the horror that he did. I was never embarrassed of my breast now I am, and can’t even tell you about how depressed, I cried every day. And I’m not Only talking about the scar, because that’s not the only thing i have wrong. Please think not twice but a million times before getting surgery with this doctor. He has a nasty attitude, you can’t asked him or complain about anything he will give you a nasty response, he treat his patients horrible just like his staff! Only saw him once post op because you’re going to be in the care of the residents and the Wait time in the office for the post op appointment is ridiculous, which is very inconsiderate. And I’m not the Only one, I have a list of patients that have the same problem. DON’T GO TO HIM

He creates a very relaxing atmosphere and has good bed side manners.

Awesome doctor. He is an experienced, detail- oriented, dedicated, approachable medical professional. He listened to my concerns very patiently and answered all my questions- even the day after surgery when I was overly stressed! His office staff is well-mannered and patient as well. I would definitely recommend him.

It was very bad experience I don’t wish this for anyone, horrible results, looks very ugly, it looks like a child played with scissors. Three months and I am still in pain, I don’t recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Podda did a wonderful job! Being he is a great Doctor, he is very busy so expect to be ready with questions on your first appointment. The staff is very friendly and the office is very clean.
