Began treatment with BCG in 2019. Bladder removal in 2021. Her NP session post surgery to “teach” about urostomy changes and products might as well have been in a foreign language. We went again. We figured it out ourselves.2024 left ureter is scarred or damaged leading to four severe kidney infections, all requiring hospitalization, one of which was in sepsis when arrived at hospital. Oncologist asked Dr Porten if she wanted to look at the urethra. She said NO. She should have looked at that damaged ureter. She was the one who touched it last. Stay away from her and her practice. She’s always upbeat but when you have cancer you want to know the truth. And you’d like it if your surgeon would look at the damage she most likely caused.
