Deceptive
Dr. Collins makes a good appearance and provides a cogent argument for Mohs surgery, but her bite is much bigger than her bark. I saw her when a mole on my face became cancerous and the biopsy left a disfiguring divot. Dr. Collins dissuaded me from the radiation treatment my dermatologist recommended, saying it would create more tumors over time. She assured me that the scar from Mohs surgery would be much less disfiguring than the divot. WRONG. She did the surgery and sent me to her colleague, plastic surgeon Jonathan Schrieber, to suture the wound. Five months have passed and I still have an ugly hole in my face with a ragged line. Absolutely hideous. I cry every day and the bandage I wear can't conceal the hole. It's too deep. Don't believe the sales pitch. Look for alternatives. I wish I had.

I kind of felt like I was in a spa while having a moh’s surgery on my face! Ivery recently had a shoulder surgery which is very painful, so to recline back in a chair with no pain and have several very attentive assistants taking care of me was pleasant! The surgery went fine and I had no complaints. I was a bit surprised that the doctor didn’t see me when I went to get the stitches out.

Can't Say Enough Good Things About My Visit
A great experience....top to bottom. The thorough, excellent and thoughtful care of Dr. Collins and her talented staff was greatly appreciated. The treatment was comprehensive from start to finish.....walking me though the process up front, removing any concerns, answering all questions during the procedure and continuing with excellent follow up. I can't be more thankful to the Doctor and her staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Top Doc
Dr. Collins is very personable and professional and explained everything very, very clearly. Assured my comfort throughout the afternoon. Showed me pictures of where the straggler cells were around the edges of the excised area. Having the pathology lab on site made completing the surgery so much more efficient. I am pretty sure they stayed past their usual closing time to complete my surgery. I have told every one about how great this practice and it's people are. ALMOST fun to come back for the follow up checks!

The initial experience was fine. However, she did not bother to check her work on my lip at the follow up visit to remove the stitches although I had called twice with a problem. Unacceptable. After removal of stitches the incision area was bleeding when I left, again, unacceptable. Left with a very visible raised scar that would have to be surgically repaired by a cosmetic surgeon.

Dr. Collins performed two Moh's procedures to my face within two months. One was a for a squamous cell carcinoma on the cheek and the other on the inside corner of the left eye for a basal cell carcinoma. I would never consider going to a different doctor for this procedure. She is amazing...kind, professional and did an awesome job!

Seems that she does not truly care much about the condition of her patient, not compassionate in my experience. Do not recommend.

I was very impressed with the expertize and finese Dr. Collins posesses. She removed a middle grade cancer from my right temple area . And now I am even more impressed with her, as I thought she was much younger than her age. I highly recommend her to anyone with cancer which requires surgery.

Dr. Collins was WONDERFUL with my 12 year old daughter who was extremely nervous about getting a mole removed. I cannot thank her enough for not only a job perfectly done, but also for her friendly and calming bedside manner to my daughter. Dr. Collins and her staff truly took the stress out of a stressful appointment for my daughter (and for me! :) ).
