Dr. Sitha Konopack, MD

Dr. K is an excellent communicator. She approached the patient having familiarized herself with their med records and was already familiar with their health history and complex allergies. This was reassuring. She explained the situation, which could have been life-threatening but luckily was not -- she shared information, was reassuring, asked questions to confirm patient understanding, and was all-around wonderful. Came back and checked on patient prior to discharge. It was a scary situation but handled with professionalism and also grace. She is an outstanding ER doctor. The whole team at UF Health Springhill E.R. was outstanding.
